DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

Oh my God, don’t waste your time or money!! This was a complete farce. There are so many better ghost tours to choose from. The guide was obviously ill prepared and was just “winging it”.

Response from the operator: Simply put, in our business we from time to time deal with clients that choose to conspire to gang up on our company I'm very sorry to say. We've worked hard to build something that they, with malice, have targeted to tear down. They and their companions, to some perception degree have succeeded. But instead of dignifying this review or the ones of their companions overall, I've decided to publish our initial response to the client's reasonable sounding request for a refund which occurred before these reviews and will let the public be the judge. It should be said that the original reserving client, was refunded, and never responded to my reply to them as published here below. For those still interested, it did turn out that our guide was suffering with vertigo and heat exhaustion but again, the intent of the client was not to afford us any empathy or human understanding. Hi _________, That's a lot to take in but appreciate your candor and thorough explanation and have no issue supplying you with a refund. I'll certainly look into it and regret this was the outcome. Naturally we'd love the opportunity to make it up to you as our guests with a different guide. Not having spoken to Mr. Anderson as of yet but I know he's had some health problems and that may or may not have contributed. All of the same, I feel sure he'll want to know about your experience and will take it just as seriously. While we didn't deliver what you were after, we consider you our client even after we flop but appreciate your energy here as most wouldn't care enough so thank you. Extremely Uncomfortable and Uninformative

Unfortunately, this was a complete disappointment. I have been on several tours throughout cities all over the world and I always try to go with local small businesses. I had high hopes based on the other reviews. Our guide arrived late, which was not a big deal, but that should have been our first red flag. We started out at Monterey Square, like the itinerary said, but it went downhill fast. I originally picked this specific tour because the tour was supposed to end closer towards where we were staying. Instead, he did not take us to any of the locations listed in the itinerary and we went further into the historic district, ending past Forsyth Park (the exact opposite direction we were to go) at a hotel where we were very obviously not supposed to be in (as he whipped his tour pass off as soon as we went onto the property), but was sold to as us a good place to get a refreshment and meet our Uber. Aside from the itinerary change, I don’t think “Lazarus” finished one single story and at times talked so low I could barely understand him. I tried marking his erratic behavior off as part of his character, but his rudeness towards other guides and individuals on the street was extremely uncomfortable. Mind you, we were an very small group, so this could have been an incredible tour, but instead we couldn’t wait for it to end. I had to remind him to finish one story, and then after that, I feel as if he didn’t finish any of the other stories. I try my hardest to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and love leaving 5 star reviews, but this was literally a waste of money, and even worse, a waste of our evening where we could have done so many other things on our limited time here.

Uncomfortable and a let down

We were originally told that we would have a female guide, which was important to us since this was a girls’ trip with my mom, my grandma, and me. At the last minute, we received a text saying our guide would instead be a man. We didn’t have an issue at first and assumed plans had simply changed. When we arrived at the meeting location he provided, he showed up about 10 minutes late. Throughout the two-hour tour, he rarely finished a single story and frequently went off on unrelated tangents, which made the experience confusing. More importantly, he made all three of us feel uncomfortable and uneasy during the tour. To make matters worse, at the end of the tour, instead of returning us to the original meeting point, he dropped us off at a hotel because it was apparently closer to his house. We were left to figure out how to get back on our own. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. We were looking forward to learning about the area and enjoying the tour together, but instead we left feeling uncomfortable and frustrated. I would not recommend this tour based on our experience.

wonderful tour and guide

I did the tour tonight with Jonita and she had the right amount of spooky in her story and was so helpfull with our questions and was the perfect tour guide she was wonderful.

Walking tour to 10 hstoric sites

Very informative. I even got to use an emf reader. It took about 2 hours from start to finish. Would highly recommend......
