Terrific personalised tours

We had a fabulous day exploring with Giang who looked after us so well and provided great commentary on our full day tour. Our lunch stop was fantastic - one of the best meals we have had in Vietnam ! For service and great care we highly recommend Son and Giang (Son checked in with us regularly to make sure we were enjoying ourselves which was very much appreciated)

Great touring experience with 8 month old

We had a fantastic day touring with Son. His organisation and communication before the trip were great and he planned an excellent couple of days for our family. We were travelling with an 8 month old and he had a properly fitted baby seat and was very accommodating and considerate of travelling with a baby. Our son loved him! The experiences were very enjoyable and his knowledge really interesting. We did Marble Mountain, Lady Buddha and Hai Van pass from Da Nang. Then day 2 from Hoi An we did My Son Sanctuary, Coconut Village and bucket boat ride, pottery experience and rice paper making. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience

We had an absolutely amazing experience with this guide! Everything exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, but at the same time completely flexible – we truly felt that the day was tailored around our preferences and pace. What stood out the most was how well the guide listened to our wishes and adapted the program accordingly. It never felt rushed or overly scripted. Instead, it felt personal and authentic. On top of that, the stories and insights shared throughout the tour were incredibly engaging and added so much depth to everything we saw. You can really feel the passion and knowledge. Highly, highly recommend – this was one of the best experiences of our trip!

Exceptional driver service

We had a fantastic experience with this transportation company and especially with Do Son, who made everything so easy to arrange through WhatsApp in English. Every driver was professional, safe, friendly, and right on time, which made our trip completely stress-free. The pricing was very fair, and our airport pickup from Da Nang was much cheaper than the hotel’s option. They also organized several longer rides for us, including Hoi An to Hue via the Hai Van Pass with interesting stops along the way, Hue to Phong Nha with stops at the DMZ and Vinh Moc Tunnels, and Phong Nha to Ninh Binh. Everything was smooth, reliable, and well organized from start to finish. Highly recommend this company to anyone traveling through central Vietnam!

Highly recommended service

Son made airport transfers a breeze, and additionally we spent a fabulous day with him travelling between Hoi an and Hue visiting the Hai Van pass, Marble Mountains, Lang Co, An Bang ghost city and so much more. It is such a privilege to have learned so much about beautiful Vietnam during our time with him. I’ll be recommending him to our friends planning on travelling to central Vietnam in the future.

Hai Van pass Scenic Private car tour from Hoi An - Da Nang - Hue: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Da Nang.

How much does Hai Van pass Scenic Private car tour from Hoi An - Da Nang - Hue cost?

+

Prices start at $55 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Da Nang usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Hai Van pass Scenic Private car tour from Hoi An - Da Nang - Hue take?

+

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Da Nang is not rushed.

Is Hai Van pass Scenic Private car tour from Hoi An - Da Nang - Hue worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Da Nang, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Hai Van pass Scenic Private car tour from Hoi An - Da Nang - Hue?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Hai Van pass Scenic Private car tour from Hoi An - Da Nang - Hue suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Hai Van pass Scenic Private car tour from Hoi An - Da Nang - Hue?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Da Nang can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Da Nang and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Hai Van pass Scenic Private car tour from Hoi An - Da Nang - Hue start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Da Nang within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Da Nang?

+

On Outty we rank every Da Nang experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Golden Bridge and Ba Na Hills Small Group Tour, Marble Mountains - Am Phu Cave - Monkey Mountain Sunset tour, Lady Buddha, Marble Mountains, Coconut Jungle & Hoian City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Da Nang?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Da Nang?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
