Barangaroo Reserve
Barangaroo Reserve is Sydney’s newest harbour foreshore park. One of the city’s oldest industrial sites and a former concrete container terminal has been transformed into a spectacular, six-hectare headland open space for Sydneysiders and visitors alike to enjoy. The reserve is car-free and the perfect spot for cycling. Ride up to Stargazer Lawn for the best views across the gardens and into the harbour or follow the Wulugul Walk, which links Walsh Bay and Darling Harbour and runs through the reserve. More than 75,000 native trees and shrubs have been planted, replicating the foliage that would have been on this site prior to European colonisation. Native bee colonies have also been introduced to help pollinate the native plant species. You can even take a dip in the harbour at the new swimming area that opened in Marrinawi Cove in early 2023. This sheltered spot is lined with sandstone steps and enclosed with safety netting.

Fantastic E-Bike Tour – Safe, Fun, and Packed with Local Insights
Highly recommend this tour of Sydney. The ride takes you by all of they key sites, safety of riders remains a priority throughout, e-bikes makes the distance/effort a breeze, interesting and at times humorous commentary throughout by our guide Jake (also the tour owner), small group sizes, easy to hear the guide through the handy Bluetooth helmet speakers, yummy stop for lunch (though no obligation to purchase / eat at the recommended location), great communication prior to tour from Jake including incredible flexibility as our travel plans changed several times. Take this tour!

Great time!
I had a fantastic time! Jake is very experienced, and I felt safe on the city streets. He made sure I was comfortable using an electric bike and we were off! He’s extremely passionate about biking and the history of Australia we stopped at a wonderful Greek café midway. I highly recommend this tour. It’s the best way to see a new city!

This e-bike tour was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Sydney! Our guide, Jake’s passion for the city was evident in the interesting information he shared as we rode along and took-in the beautiful sites. We toured areas and learned about things we never would have found on our own. We’ve gone on several e-bike tours throughout our travels, and this was one of the best - definitely recommend!!
