About this experience
The tour covers several breathtaking places along the way. We can Easily Say that this is the highlight of your trip to Georgia. You have so much fun with very nice people laughing and dancing on the way. Remember it is a long ride, but no worry, our guides always create the mood and the atmosphere of celebration with wonderful stories about Georgia. This ride is a bit difficult even for our safe and experienced drivers in winter. We have some tips on what you should do in the winter. First of all, be prepared for freezing cold and take everything warm that you have and definitely get good sleep the night before. Sometimes roads are blocked and we can not go next to Gudauri, but in this case, we have more time to spend at Gudauri ski resort, where you have the possibility to try a lot of activities like paragliding, ATV bikes, Horse riding and etc.

Very rude and all around worst manager I’ve dealt with
I would like to mention the tour guide was great (friendly and thoughtful), and on a normal day I would have given her 5 stars. However, The owner of this tour company is the rudest person I’ve had to deal with for a long time, so this review is purely for him. A day before the start of the tour, I messaged customer service on Viator with a simple request. A few days before, I had a disastrous tour in Armenia where a police blockade forced that tour company to change the pickup location the night before. However, I didn’t get the text message update as their employee mistyped my WhatsApp number. Due to this experience, the afternoon before this BFT tour, I reached out to make clear what exactly my WhatsApp number is, just as a double layer security measure, in case of important updates. I do admit this may not have been 100% necessary but I was traumatized from the Armenia experience. Instead, IOSEB SVIANADZE (owner of BFT Tours but I did not know this until the next day) immediately decided to insult me and say the Armenia tour was my fault without addressing the question or asking for more information. I did not reach out for judgement. Despite the fact I remained polite while being appalled at his attitude, he went on a tangent about how the 4.7/5 rated company I used in Armenia was a cheap low rated company, and how that only a 4.9/5 rating can be considered good. Then proceeded to make assumptions accuse me of being cheap and booking a crappy tour in Armenia (it was the only tour available for that day and a 4.7/5 is almost always a great rating based on past experience). The next day, I asked the tour guide for the WhatsApp number of management so I can report this conversation so IOSEB SVIANADZE could be disciplined. That’s when I found out this person was the owner, which makes sense cause most employees would be too afraid to be rude to customers and face consequences. He continued his tirade and this time launched threats, such as leaving me in the middle of nowhere during the tour route. I dropped the conversation because it was clear this guy is just a rude person with no accountability. At the end of the day, it’s his company so I’m at his mercy. Not much I could do at this point. Avoid BFT Tour group at all costs. Do not give this underserving rude person your business.
Response from the operator: Please go to hospital . You need good doctor, not tour.

Why this scores 82
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Gudauri and Ananuri full day tour including hotel pick up: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tbilisi.
How much does Gudauri and Ananuri full day tour including hotel pick up cost?
+
Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tbilisi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Gudauri and Ananuri full day tour including hotel pick up take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tbilisi is not rushed.
Is Gudauri and Ananuri full day tour including hotel pick up worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 78 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tbilisi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Gudauri and Ananuri full day tour including hotel pick up?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Gudauri and Ananuri full day tour including hotel pick up suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Gudauri and Ananuri full day tour including hotel pick up?
+
Around 27 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tbilisi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tbilisi and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Gudauri and Ananuri full day tour including hotel pick up start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tbilisi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tbilisi?
+
On Outty we rank every Tbilisi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tbilisi:Evening Walking & Talking Tour with Wine & Boat Ride, Kakheti Wine Region Tour + 10 Premium Wine Tastings & Sunset, Tbilisi:Mtskheta,Jvari,Bazaar, wine tasting,Chronicles of Georgia. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tbilisi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tbilisi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
