What you'll see and do
The tour begins very close to our reception with a safety talk given by our adventure guides who will clearly explain the most optimal way to enjoy this experience. With the instructions received, the tour starts going up a majestic Guanacaste tree on a spiral staircase with a height of 18 meters. The tour consists of 10 canopy lines and 19 platforms. Halfway through the tour, we do an exciting jump between platforms swinging with a rope from a tree to another to continue with the second part of the circuit. Then we continue with another cable and we arrive at an excellent place to take pictures under the shade of the forest, on a handrail and a suspension bridge. The entire tour takes place in an aerial way, that is, platforms in trees such as Guanacaste and Espavel, which provide the visitor the possibility of observing diverse flora and fauna on the route, as well as an unsurpassed feeling of connection with nature.

Fantastic Staff and Perfect for Kids
We had an excellent experience at Skyline Canopy Tour. My biggest priority was finding a zipline that would be safe, fun, and comfortable for my two kids, ages 6 and 8, and the staff were absolutely fantastic with them. They were patient, reassuring, and clearly knew how to work with younger children. My 6-year-old felt completely comfortable, and my 8-year-old had an absolute blast. Both kids came away talking about how much they loved it, which really says everything. The course itself was a lot of fun, but the staff are what made the experience stand out for us. As a parent, knowing the kids were being looked after so well made it easy to relax and enjoy it too. I would highly recommend Skyline to families with younger kids. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.

Really enjoyed our visit!
We had a great time at Guanacaste Zipline! The drive was an easy 30 minute trip from our condo in Tamarindo, and despite it being peak heat of the day (11 am on a warm day in August), being in the treetops kept things comfortable. The instructors were fun and professional and took our safety seriously, while also making sure we had a great time. We upgraded two of our family members to do the Tarzan swing, which they loved.

Family fun
Took the zip lining adventure with my teenagers 13 & 17. The staff is fearless and obviously very experienced. I and both my kids felt safe and like we were good hands the whole time. Would definitely recommend.

Incredible experience!
The canopy was gorgeous. The staff was wonderful, kind, and knowledgeable. My 6 year old nephew was scared and they were very patient and sent a guide to zip with him the whole way. Highly recommend!!!!

Best Experience Ever
The team of people at Sky Adventure was more than accommodating. We went on a rather rainy day, so I was a little more anxious than I would've been, but the team of guys at each stop helped ease the anxiety. The view were breathtaking and I would do this again 100 times over.

How much does Guanacaste Zipline – Safe & Fun for Kids 2+ & Families cost?

How long does Guanacaste Zipline – Safe & Fun for Kids 2+ & Families take?
+

Is Guanacaste Zipline – Safe & Fun for Kids 2+ & Families worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 83 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 399 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Tamarindo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Guanacaste Zipline – Safe & Fun for Kids 2+ & Families?

Is Guanacaste Zipline – Safe & Fun for Kids 2+ & Families suitable for kids and families?
+

How far in advance should I book Guanacaste Zipline – Safe & Fun for Kids 2+ & Families?
+
Around 140 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tamarindo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tamarindo and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+

What are the best things to do in Tamarindo?
+

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tamarindo?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tamarindo?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
