Great Local Experience!
I did the trip solo. And it’s a must do for local culture. Ivan was a fantastic guide and shared a lot of interesting facts about local culture and foods. We tried about 13 different snacks, in total, between 6 or 7 places. Initially, I thought it would be impossible to eat so much, but we split most of the snacks and were able to grab a bite of everything. Great evening, thank you.
Response from the operator: Thank you for joining us, and we’re so glad you enjoyed discovering Guadalajara through its food and local culture! 🌮 It’s wonderful to hear that Ivan’s stories and the variety of tastings made the experience memorable, especially as a solo traveler. We’re happy you got to sample so many different flavors at your own pace. Cheers, Maira from Cook in Fiesta

Got me at 6k reviews on the taco place 🌮
Loved the different places that he showed me. He had me at 6k reviews for the taco place in Google Maps 😍 good was really good but the guide was so charming that I almost forgot about the rest of the food.
Response from the operator: Now that is a taco recommendation! 🌮😂 We’re delighted you enjoyed discovering the different spots and that your guide’s personality made the experience even more memorable. Finding those local places with a story behind them is part of what makes a food crawl special. We’re glad both the tacos and the company won you over! Cheers, Maira from Cook in Fiesta

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. +
On Outty we rank every Guadalajara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Luxury Tequila Experience: VIP Tastings & Boutique Distilleries, Full Day Tour to Tequila and Amatitán with Fun and Culture, The Fire TOUR - Pyramids, Volcanoes, Agaves & Tequila. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Guadalajara?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Guadalajara?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
