Excellent & Amazing activity, we enjoyed a lot.

Excellent activity, well organized. We discovered the Medina on our own. following the itinerary described in the book. We made memories, we learned Bargaining with Moroccan and make lower price by half 😊 because we were given 100 dirhams to buy the most unique souvenir. we should take the most unusual and original photo, at the end they give us a beautiful winner trophy. In all it’s an 'epic' experience that we liked a lot and we strongly recommend. gadget.

Response from the operator: Thanks David, Glad to hear that.

A complete scam

This was a complete scam. We paid 350 euros for 4 adults and 4 young kids under 10. The description said it would be a 4 hour and 30 mins activity. It lasted under 2 hours. We were sent into the medina on our own (fine) however the guide books we were given were not updated, pictures of shops that were meant to guide us, no longer exist, so the entire thing made no sense and we got lost. On the description page of the activity it also says we’d be given some cash to spend for shopping, there was not a single dime. I have screen shots of my conversation with the supposed “guide” complaining about it all. He said the money was there but that we didn’t see it. Yeah, ok.

Response from the operator: Hi, the activity was perfect as usual, all what you say is a miss leading because you search refund. We will reply you point by point : - The duration last only 2 hrs because group was small, only 8 persons and was splitted into two groups in competition, the main objectif is to discover the Medina following the roadbook. -Our guides and assistant never hurry up you - a cagnotte of 10 euros was given to each group to show bargaining skillls and abuy a unique product. Here are the inclusions that were, so why you ask for refund :  2 Expert treasure hunt supervision (guides)  Distinctive shawls  01 trophy for the winning team  Preparation and printing of road books  200 DH prize fund for 2 teams Drinks at the end in Terasse of square cafe

How far in advance should I book Group activities: Treasure hunt in Marrakech?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

+

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
