uneventful · boring
We were looking forward to this tour but unfortunitly it fell flat. I saw some reviews of people bailing before it was over and hoped this was not the case for us but we left also. The guide was nice but seemed unprepared and talked more about history than actual ghost encounters. Our first stop the Bar seemed unaware we were showing up and it took awahile to get drinks. The entire time the guide just rambled on about history as you could tell he was stalling for time. Our group got extreamly bored and we abandoned the tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing this feedback. I’m genuinely sorry to hear that the tour didn’t meet your expectations, especially since you were looking forward to it. What you described is not the experience we aim to provide. Our haunted bar tours should be well-paced, focused on local ghost stories and encounters, and coordinated with our partner bars so guests aren’t left waiting or feeling like an afterthought. Clearly, we missed the mark that night. I appreciate you pointing this out, as feedback like this helps us improve. Since this tour, we’ve updated our Haunted Bar Tour route and refreshed the stories to better emphasize paranormal encounters and pacing, and we’ve reinforced expectations with our guides and partner locations to avoid issues like the ones you experienced. If you’re open to it, I’d be happy to connect directly and see how we can make this right. Thank you again for your honesty, and I’m sorry we let you down. — Gabe, Owner Greenville Ghost Tours

The best experience my wife and I could have asked for!
Gabe is hands down the best tour guide + best ghost tour on earth! We’ve done a lot in many different cities but Gabe’s was fun, interactive, informative and spooky as well. We actually did our own paranormal investigation! So don’t hesitate to book Gabe with Greenville Ghost Tours!!
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for the review! It was a great group and a great night. You even left with your own paranormal evidence. Stay spooky! -Gabe

Greenville Haunted Bar Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Greenville.
How much does Greenville Haunted Bar Tour cost?

+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Greenville is not rushed.
Is Greenville Haunted Bar Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Greenville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Greenville Haunted Bar Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Greenville Haunted Bar Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Greenville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Greenville and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Greenville?
+

Outty ranks every bookable tour and activity in Greenville by rating quality, review depth, booking demand and value, so you can see the standouts before you book. On Outty we rank every Greenville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The 1-Hour Greenville History and More Walking Tour, Greenville City Segway Tour, Pedego Electric Bike Tour at Greenville. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Greenville?
+
Spring and fall bring the best weather and lighter crowds in Greenville, while summer has the widest choice of tours and evening activities. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Greenville?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
