A great and filling food tour!
Marise was a great guide. She seemed fluent in Spanish, she managed the spots we went to and provided good info along the way to each stop. She’s a bubbly, social host, savvy to the area. The first stop was great, I loved learning about the different jamons and trying them AND the option to purchase items from the shop. Loved the Mercado, super busy. I’d recommend a different stall or food option. We had a large plate of frito mixto, it was huge and not enough of us could finish it. Fried foods are heavy as well. Then we stopped and tried cheese and salmorejo; huge portion! I’d totally recommend a smaller portion! Delicious non the less and good wine. Next we went to a Pionononos* spot, for the end of our tour. We saved our for our drive back but we hadn’t yet seen this part of Granada. Marise gave great recommendations and when we return to Granada, we will follow her suggestions! Cheers and thanks to Marise.
