Exquisite and well worth a visit 🇪🇸

Very accommodating, attractive and friendly staff at the entrance. What a truly significant building. A Renaissance/Baroque exquisite architectural building that was absolutely breathtaking, taking almost 190 years to build. The actual pillars are several metres wide. You cannot believe the work that has went into this, more than equaling the work in Rome( everyone was wanting to be more superior to the other, I assume) You will not be disappointed. From the outside it looks pretty insignificant, but go inside and see the splendour of the immense detail and symmetry, it is truly magical!

    Essential guide experience!

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable of all aspects of the Cathedral and Granada facts. Very insightful and educational! Highly recommend a guide as there is so much to learn that is not otherwise explained . If you are in a hurry - 7€ gets you into the Cathedral- did not seem to be a problem with availability nor at the Royal Chapel

    Alberto’s tour was a gift

Alberto was an excellent guide. His English was perfect, and his knowledge was very deep. He brought all the things that he showed us to life with the amazing history in the stories in the background he provided. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a wonderful tour

    Overpriced

Informative tour. Guide, Alberto, was great (I would give him 5 stars) but trip was significantly overpriced. Online instructions did not describe well where to meet guide. We were a little disappointed for the price.

Response from the operator: Dear Mary, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a comment. We truly appreciate your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you found the price to be high. It’s important to keep in mind that the final cost includes several components: entrance fees to the monuments, applicable taxes, the guide’s fee—which is often considerable due to their qualifications and dedication—and also the high commissions charged by booking platforms. For this reason, we always recommend booking directly with the local company whenever possible. When all of these expenses are taken into account, we believe the price is fair and in line with market rates, with a very modest margin considering the amount of work and number of people involved in delivering a high-quality experience. That being said, we are very glad to know that you enjoyed the part of the tour led by the guide and that you considered giving 5 stars. Given that the guided visit is the core element of the experience, we hope you might reconsider your overall rating, as it seems you were satisfied with the most important aspect of the tour. Warm regards, Eric Zint

Granada: Cathedral and Royal Chapel Private tour with tickets: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Granada.

How much does Granada: Cathedral and Royal Chapel Private tour with tickets cost?

    +

Prices start at $176 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Granada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Granada: Cathedral and Royal Chapel Private tour with tickets take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Granada is not rushed.

Is Granada: Cathedral and Royal Chapel Private tour with tickets worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Granada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Granada: Cathedral and Royal Chapel Private tour with tickets?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Granada: Cathedral and Royal Chapel Private tour with tickets suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Granada: Cathedral and Royal Chapel Private tour with tickets?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Granada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Granada and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Granada: Cathedral and Royal Chapel Private tour with tickets start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Granada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Granada?

    +

On Outty we rank every Granada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Granada: Sierra Nevada Safari tour up to 2500 meters high, Granada Tapas and Wine Small Group Tour, Granada: Albaicin and Sacromonte Segway Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Granada?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Granada?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
