Super nice private excursion with top guidance from our guide Valerie 💛

We most enjoyed the visit to La Bodega and the caves with the hippies in the ravine!

Response from the operator: Beste Greet en co, Hartelijk bedankt voor jullie recensie. Mogán Verde neemt bezoekers "off the beaten track" en onze halte bij de hippies die in grotten en boomhutten wonen, is altijd een topper! We kijken uit naar jullie volgend bezoek! Muchos saludos, Sofie

    Highly recommended

We did the Veneguera tour with Mogan Verde. Sofie is an experienced hiker so we felt in safe hands all the way. She is also very knowledgeable in the area, the island and flora/fauna so besides a wonderful hike with an amazing view we got a lot of new info.

Response from the operator: Dear guests, Many thanks for having taken the time to post a comment on TripAdvisor. It was great hiking with you and Veneguera is a superb hiking area! Warm regards, Sofie

    An unforgettable hike

Passionate guides who pass on the keys to discover, read, and appreciate the gran canaria. The hike of the palm groves with Paul was an excellent moment as was the visit of Puerto de Mogán with Sofie (history, culture, fauna and flora...). I highly recommend and will appeal without any hesitation from other places thanks to Morgan Verde Service during a future stay.

Response from the operator: Merci beaucoup pour ton message Julie! Nous sommes très contents de savoir que la rando et notre service vous avez plus. Paul est un guide excellent et c'est avec beaucoup de plaisir que nous faisons les visites et les randonnées dans notre petit paradis: Gran Canaria!

    Awesome private hiking

Great hike accompanied by many comments on the flora, fauna and history of the island. An ideal rhythm adapted to all physical abilities

Response from the operator: Merci beaucoup pour ton message Nicolas! C´était superb de faire una randonnée avec toi! Le sentier entre "falaises et ravins" et un de mes sentiers préférés et je suis très contente de l'avoir fait avec toi! Un saludo desde Mogán, Sofie

    Fantastic!

In September I was on holiday in Gran Canaria and had booked another private walk at Mogán Verde. I was alone with Sofie on the road. Ideal during Covid-19! Sofie had suggested some walks and I picked one there. We were out and about in the heart of Gran Canaria and it was breathtakingly beautiful! At the highest point we had a 360 degree view and could even see the island of Tenerife! I felt completely at ease and safe with Sofie. She always kept enough distance and in the car we had the mask on. A private hike in Gran Canaria with Mogán Verde is a MUST!

Response from the operator: Beste Peggy, Hartelijk bedankt voor je review.

Gran Canaria private walks: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Gran Canaria.

How much does Gran Canaria private walks cost?

    +

Prices start at $240 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Gran Canaria usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Gran Canaria private walks take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Gran Canaria is not rushed.

Is Gran Canaria private walks worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Gran Canaria, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Gran Canaria private walks?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Gran Canaria private walks suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Gran Canaria private walks?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Gran Canaria can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Gran Canaria and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Gran Canaria private walks start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Gran Canaria within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Gran Canaria?

    +

On Outty we rank every Gran Canaria experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Puerto de Mogán: Coastal Cruise with Optional Snorkeling & Lunch, Guided tour of the Banana World, Gran Canaria Red Canyon: Small Group Tour & Local Food ツ. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Gran Canaria?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Gran Canaria?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Gran Canaria private walks?

    +

Included: Lunch. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Gran Canaria private walks include hotel pickup?

    +

Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 314 listed pickup locations in and around Gran Canaria. Be ready about 30 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.

What languages is Gran Canaria private walks offered in?

    +

It is offered in German, English, French, Dutch and Spanish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Gran Canaria private walks?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

    +

The operator notes: Specialized infant seats are available. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.

This experience depends on good weather. If it is canceled because of poor weather, you are offered a different date or a full refund.
