Interesting route with varied pubs on the way.
Interesting route which took us down streets we would not otherwise have seen. We liked the self-guided aspect: after the first stop we could change the order of the visit. The food was ok, but I wouldn’t call it gourmet. Vegetarians could manage, but not for vegans. The wine and beer were fine, especially at Cuevo 1900. Generous helping of extra charcuterie at the first stop was a nice surprise. Some of the waiters were a bit mystified at first and the last stop wanted a number not the bar code. Bar la Tranca was mobbed, though this meant a great atmosphere. A fun evening.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your review 😊 We’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed the experience, discovering Málaga in a different way and enjoying the local atmosphere and traditional tapas along the route 🍷✨ We truly appreciate your feedback and your kind words. We also take note of your comments for future improvements. Javier – Gastrowalk

A great tour
We did the Malaga tapas tour and loved it. At all stops we had two tapas to choose from. All the restaurants treated us great. We would repeat!
Response from the operator: Muchas gracias por estas palabras tan amables, Marina.

Tapas Gastrowalk
We did the Gastrowalk tapas route in Málaga, and the experience was much better than we expected. The tour is perfectly organized to slowly immerse you into Málaga’s nightlife while discovering authentic local spots where most of the regular customers are locals. We loved the drinks and tapas at every stop, and we also met tourists from different parts of Europe who were doing the same tour and enjoying it just as much as we were. At all four restaurants included in the tour, we received wonderful service, and the atmosphere in each place was spectacular. It’s also worth mentioning that buying the tour is very convenient because you save a lot of money. We even took photos of some restaurant menus and realized that, thanks to the tour, we paid far less than we would have if we had gone on our own. One of the places had live music, and all of them were lively and full of friendly people enjoying the entertainment and atmosphere. We 100% recommend it.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind words, Yurema. We are glad to read that you have understood the complete meaning of the self guided tour experience, where you can discover this amazing city at your own pace. We take a lot of care of the bar selection to give you the best experience, so it is very rewarding for us to see that you felt it that way. We would love to welcome you back at any other tour. Thank you very much again, Yurema. Carlos, Gastrowalk Customer Support

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Malaga?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Malaga?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
