Delicious Venice Beach experience
Denisse was fantastic! She took us to unique local spots, with wonderful, delicious food. We had plenty to eat! Denisse was fun, kind, enthusiastic, knowledgable, and personable. So much more than food, a true experience. Our teenage daughters had a blast as well!
Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re thrilled Denisse made your Venice Beach experience so memorable and that you all had such a great time. We hope to welcome you back for another delicious adventure soon! 😊

Fun afternoon
We did the Santa Monica food tour and it was a really fun afternoon. It ended up being just my husband and I on the tour and Cassie made it a great experience. We're locals, but thought it would be a fun way to explore things that we hadn't tried before and it delivered on that - with a Croffle (a croissant waffle) and a Japanese hot dog. Both were really good! There were 6 stops on the tour and it was the perfect amount of food overall. We hadn't done a food tour before, but this made us want to try it again exploring other neighborhoods!
Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad Cassie made your afternoon special and that you enjoyed discovering new favorites right in your own backyard. We’d love to have you join us again to explore another LA neighborhood!

Food culture of Venice Beach (+history too!)
Great introduction to food culture of Venice Beach; and added bonus was the guide's deep knowledge of the history of the Venice Beach community. …and the food was delicious!
Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the mix of Venice Beach food and history! Happy to hear the guide’s insights and the food made it such a great experience 😊

Definitely do again!
Great experience! Denisse did a wonderful job of sharing her love of Venice and knowledge of its food and history. The food selections were diverse, tasty and we can’t wait to try some of these places again
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind feedback! We are so happy you enjoyed your time with Denisse! We hope you will visit us again in LA!

Great Way to see Venice, CA
Cassie was super friendly and knew all the best spots around Venice Beach. We hit some cool places on the beach and some hidden gems off it. I usually stick to vegetarian, but those meat empanadas were seriously good! The Japanese sweet potato at the end was amazing. Definitely worth it if you want to try stuff you wouldn’t find on your own. Learned a lot about the town and got to eat yummy food!
Response from the operator: We’re so happy you enjoyed your visit! Thank you so much for your feedback!

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Gourmet LA Venice Beach Walking Food Tour with Delicious Dish: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Angeles.
How much does Gourmet LA Venice Beach Walking Food Tour with Delicious Dish cost?
+
Prices start at $180 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Angeles usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Gourmet LA Venice Beach Walking Food Tour with Delicious Dish take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Angeles is not rushed.
Is Gourmet LA Venice Beach Walking Food Tour with Delicious Dish worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Angeles, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Gourmet LA Venice Beach Walking Food Tour with Delicious Dish?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Gourmet LA Venice Beach Walking Food Tour with Delicious Dish suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Gourmet LA Venice Beach Walking Food Tour with Delicious Dish?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Angeles can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Angeles and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Gourmet LA Venice Beach Walking Food Tour with Delicious Dish start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Angeles within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Los Angeles?
+
Los Angeles rewards travellers who cluster their bookings by geography rather than by theme. Studio tours and Hollywood walks sit inland, the Malibu and Santa Monica coast runs west, and Griffith Observatory and the canyon hikes work best at dawn or dusk. We weight transport clarity in the ranking here: whether pickup is included changes an LA day more than the tour itself. On Outty we rank every Los Angeles experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hollywood Sign 2.5-Hour Tour with Comedians and Their Dogs, Los Angeles Hollywood Sign Hike: Front, Behind, and Expert Guide, Los Angeles Original 90-Minute Walking Tour to The Hollywood Sign. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Los Angeles?
+
March to May and September to November, for clear air and open canyon roads. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Los Angeles?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
