Awesome Experience!
Vedran was a wonderful tour guide! He was so laid back, easygoing and provide us with rich history of SF. The e-bikes helped tremendously!! I probably only pedal 30% of the time. The bike ride was roughly 2.5-3 hours but we wished it was longer! It was a 10/10 experience for us!

Foggy but Fantastic!!
The trip was tailored to the desires of our group, as we were a small one. Our leader, Eli, was knowledgable, friendly, and fun to be with! Thanks Eli!!

Awesome tour!
Our check-in, review of safety procedures, rules & such went well. The bike they originally gave me was too big so they quickly found a smaller one that I was more comfortable using. Our guide, Eli, was funny, very knowledgeable about the area & the places we stopped. Before we crossed the bridge he pulled us over & gave us general advice about how to stop on the bike lanes so as to not impede others & to be aware of the 'spandex warriors'. After we arrived in Sausalito, he spent several minutes after the tour ended giving advice on things to see & do, talked with those who were going to keep their bikes for longer about their procedures & took the rest of us to the place where we dropped off our bikes & gave us the ferry schedules to get back across to San Francisco. Riding a bike over the Golden Gate was a fantastic experience and I recommend this tour. I will say that a couple of the hills we had to climb were brutal. :)

Thrill of a Lifetime!
Our visit to San Francisco was part of a 3 week cross country Amtrak trip and this tour was definitely one of the highlights. I learned about the tour on Trip Advisor but waited until we arrived to check out the business in person before booking. We own our own ebikes and are particular about what we ride. (We are old and need throttles and comfy seats.) After meeting the staff and tour guides, we booked for the next day. Our guide for the day was Bill. He’s very personable and did a wonderful job sharing the right amount of information and keeping us moving. There is no way we would have been able to create a tour on our own of this quality using Google Maps. Bill knew all the cool photo ops on our trip to Sausalito and I have the photos to prove it. And what a THRILL to cross the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time on a bike!!! We opted to keep the rental bikes for the rest of the day instead of turning them in upon reaching Sausalito. (No additional cost.) I was proud of myself that I didn’t get lost nor need GPS to get back to the Wharf. We even rode up to the bottom of Lombard St. (I confess, my husband rode up there but I walked the last block - the steep road was freaking me out. I walked back down 2 blocks before I rode again.) This tour is an absolute MUST DO!

San Francisco hidden gems
This e-bike tour completely changed my opinion of San Francisco. It took us to unique spots away from what you'd typically expect to see, showcasing places that are truly part of the soul of the city. This experience was deeply enhanced by our guide Peter's incredible knowledge. He was so easy to talk to and brought a great blend of humor and local insight to the entire trip. We absolutely loved cycling through Golden Gate Park, and a real highlight was walking around the historic boat house to learn how it ended up there. Peter made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable, making the ride feel completely effortless. Afterward, we left our bikes in Sausalito and enjoyed a lovely lunch at The Joinery, then had a wander around the town before getting the ferry back to Pier 39. All in all, a fabulous day! If you book a guided tour with Blazing Saddles, definitely ask for Peter!"
Response from the operator: Debbie, wow, you're making us (and Peter!) blush. Thanks so much.

Golden Gate Bridge Guided E-Bike Tour to Sausalito: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for San Francisco.
How much does Golden Gate Bridge Guided E-Bike Tour to Sausalito cost?
+
Prices start at $115 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in San Francisco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Golden Gate Bridge Guided E-Bike Tour to Sausalito take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in San Francisco is not rushed.
Is Golden Gate Bridge Guided E-Bike Tour to Sausalito worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 802 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in San Francisco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Golden Gate Bridge Guided E-Bike Tour to Sausalito?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Golden Gate Bridge Guided E-Bike Tour to Sausalito suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Golden Gate Bridge Guided E-Bike Tour to Sausalito?
+
Around 281 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in San Francisco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in San Francisco and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Golden Gate Bridge Guided E-Bike Tour to Sausalito start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central San Francisco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in San Francisco?
+
San Francisco packs Alcatraz, Muir Woods, Napa and the bay into day-trip range, which makes booking order matter more than anywhere else in the US. Alcatraz sells out weeks ahead, wine-country vans fill on weekends, and the best food walks in the Mission and Chinatown cap at a dozen people. Our ranking favours small groups and guides who live in the neighbourhood they walk. On Outty we rank every San Francisco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group Yosemite and Giant Sequoias Day Trip from San Francisco, Golden Gate Bridge Muir Woods Sausalito with Optional Alcatraz, Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy: 7 Tastings & History. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit San Francisco?
+
September and October, the city's real summer, once the fog season breaks. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in San Francisco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
