    Absolutely worth it!

This is why you come to Iceland, so do it right! I am so glad we spent a day seeing some of the unbelievable scenery of Iceland with Superjeep tours - it was phenomenal from start to finish. Our guide Guffi picked us up right on time at the designated address and made sure the entire day was exactly what we hoped it would be. He answered our endless questions about Iceland, made a bakery stop when the kids were hungry, let us spend as much time (or little!) at the stops as we needed (but kept us ahead of the big bus crowds), and maximized the (comparatively brief) off-road experience at Langjukoll, which is not something you are going to get to visit on any shuttle bus. The jeep was old and not a luxurious interior, but my 12 year old was mesmerized by its tricked out glacier suspension and it felt like an authentic Icelandic experience. Especially given that a taxi from the airport into town can be $100, this 9 hour experience felt like a bargain. 1000% recommend.

Amazing golden circle tour with Erik

Our super jeep tour with Erik was fantastic! We saw all of the sites advertised and he was personable, humorous, knowledgeable and great with our kids! We started with a prompt pickup just outside our hotel at 830 on the dot as promised. From there we drove to the first site, a smaller waterfall, to get started. One great thing was that Erik continually took pictures with his phone of the 4 of us so we didnt have to keep asking other parties to take a group pic of us. I really appreciated this and was able to access all of the photos via drop box the next day. The trip continued to Geyser where we saw the geyser erupt about 10 times over ~25 minutes - a great sight! From there we went to Gulfoss waterfall which is breathtaking. i have mobility issues so was not able to walk down to the edge but Erik still took photos of the family and made sure i was okay at the designated pick ups after each site - this touch was really appreciated Next we did some off roading in the hills on the way to the glacier. The kids got a kick out of the jeep bouncing around and driving through a little river - At the glacier, we spent time out in the snow looking at all the surrounding mountains - Erik was very informative telling us about the various movies that were filmed in the area (including Oblivion). After the glacier, we went to the best beef and dairy farm for lunch. The food was incredible and the ice cream was excellent. The kids loved that we ate overlooking the dairy cows and calfs. For the last site, we went to the national park that spans the continental divide. this was a great 20 minute walk to meet Erik at the parking area. At most stops, Erik would set a pick up spot and then wait for us to come through at our own pace, never rushing us. The way back to Reykjavik was relaxed and Erik quizzed the kids on Icelandic factoids and stories. I cannot say enough good things about this experience and i know my family agrees - this was one of, if not the best, experiences we had in our 4 day stay in Iceland. i would absolutely recommend this company and Erik in particular. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience! Chris

    Phenomenal

An incredible day out in the wilds of Iceland with our driver, Kate. Geysers, waterfalls, glaciers, tectonic plates, horses, etc. So much to take in! Iceland is a beautiful country, with contrasting landscapes. You really get to see those contrasts on a tour like this. Our driver made the day good fun, full of fascinating facts and interesting asides. It’s a long day but it seemed to fly by. There are breaks along the way, and you get the opportunity to grab lunch too. So many highlights, it is difficult to single out one. Suffice to say, you won’t regret booking this tour. An absolute must.

    Excellent

The tour was great, even though we were unable to reach all the way to the glacier due to weather. Guide Erik was a great leader of the tour, sharing fun facts about Iceland to distract whole group away from the bad weather conditions! Highly recommend this company!

Golden Circle Small-Group Tour by Superjeep from Reykjavik: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Reykjavik.

How much does Golden Circle Small-Group Tour by Superjeep from Reykjavik cost?

    +

Prices start at $146 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reykjavik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Golden Circle Small-Group Tour by Superjeep from Reykjavik take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Reykjavik is not rushed.

Is Golden Circle Small-Group Tour by Superjeep from Reykjavik worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 131 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Reykjavik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Golden Circle Small-Group Tour by Superjeep from Reykjavik?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Golden Circle Small-Group Tour by Superjeep from Reykjavik suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Golden Circle Small-Group Tour by Superjeep from Reykjavik?

    +

Around 46 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reykjavik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reykjavik and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Golden Circle Small-Group Tour by Superjeep from Reykjavik start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reykjavik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Reykjavik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Reykjavik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Reykjavik Food Walk - Local Foodie Adventure in Iceland, Small-Group Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon with Ticket & Kerid Crater, Reykjavík Small group Walking Tour - by CityWalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Reykjavik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Reykjavik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
