Driver an hour late picking us up
Our drive was almost an hour late picking us up and therefore we had an hour less time to spend on the beach. The company did not contact me although they had my contact information and we were messaging the day before regarding the pick up time and location. I sent messages with no response. A kind woman at the port called them using her phone after we waited for 30 minutes and was told they would be there in 10 minutes. After another 20 minutes with no driver there, I contacted the number and the woman was unapologetic and provided no excuse. We were not provided with additional time for the tour. So essentially they stole an hour from us. Stay away!

Beautiful beach, poor organization and communication.
I should have e paid attention the the reviews indicating port communication and organization. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed our time there. However, I attempted to contact the travel company multiple times the day before and prior as when we arrived, we had no idea where to go to get the beach loungers. There were several section of them all owned by different hotels/restaurants. We had to talk to four people before finding where we were supposed to be. We found our driver for our transport to the beach but again tried to contact the travel company to find out when and where we were supposed to meet our ride back to our cruise ship. Were it not for the car company, who is independent of the company the excursion was booked with, I’m not sure what we would have done. The car company was super responsive and the only reason our day ended without paying g more money for a cab. Thank goodness was our first driver gave us her company’s contact info! Book with caution.

Relaxing beach day
Pickup point at the beginning and end of the transfer was easy to get to. Glyfada is a beautiful beach, well organized, with soft sand, surrounded by beautiful mountains and crystal clear water. We had a wonderful time on the beach, wished we had even more time! The driver was late in picking us up in the morning which was a frustrating expérience as it was difficult to get a hold of the provider, but I contacted viator and they were swiftly able to get it resolved. Our driver Alex was very nice, and on the way back he agreed to drop us off in the city center rather than at port which saved us some time. I would recommend this 100%. If you're looking for a day of relaxation, Glyfada is a great spot. We were left at the Pazuzu beach resort which has nice comfy lounge chairs. It included water and a drink. They change the ice the water comes with regularly and the overall ambiance is lively but relaxing. No overly loud music. There were quite a few people trying to sell massages which were very persistent, even after we said no they kept coming back. I removed one star just because of the tardiness in the morning, the operator didn't contact us to let us know they were on their way, we ended up waiting 45 minutes (15 of which were because we arrived early) and a note to advise on this would've been appreciated instead of having us worried for half an hour that we had been forgotten. Lastly, the folks at the beach club did not seem to be able to find the reservation made by the provider. It didn't block us from getting what was sold to us, but there likely needs to be an improvement in communication because I've read this comment in past reviews. Thanks again to Alex!

Bad Service from Tour company to Glyfada beach
The tour company and the driver were on two separate pages with the pick up times and we had to scramble to get a taxi back to our cruise ship which was extremely stressful and costly as we had to pay 45 euros to a private driver. Do not book this tour

Know before you go. Communication is key.
Rating this activity as a 3 Star due solely to the lack of communication from the company. They delivered no guidance or direction to help us figure out where to go and how to redeem our booking once dropped off at the beach. There were no instructions on the booking itself. At one point the lady even hung up on me while I was asking for directions and when our transportation would arrive to pick us up. That said, the transportation was amazing. Newer Mercedes vans which were very comfortable. The beach and the staff at the beach were absolutely wonderful. Beautiful water and even more stunning scenery. Overall a great trip, just not happy about the lack of communication.

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Glyfada Beach Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Corfu.
How much does Glyfada Beach Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $91 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Corfu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Glyfada Beach Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Corfu is not rushed.
Is Glyfada Beach Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 48 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Corfu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Glyfada Beach Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Glyfada Beach Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Glyfada Beach Tour?
+
Around 17 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Corfu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Corfu and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Glyfada Beach Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Corfu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Corfu?
+
On Outty we rank every Corfu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Food and Cultural Tour in Corfu, The Governor's Olive Mill Tour with Olive Oil Tasting, Electric Fat Bike Self Guided Tour Discover North Corfu. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Corfu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Corfu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
