On your adventure, unlock a hidden trail by finding clues, solving puzzles and completing challenges, earning points along the way. During your Quest, not only discover the city's highlights but explore hidden gems, learn some fun facts about the places you visit and see things that most people just pass by. As the activity is all self-guided through the app, you can start your Quest when you want (must be played during daylight hours), there are no set starting/ending times. No groups to follow. You can go at your own pace, stopping for longer in one location, taking a break or having a snack in one of the many cafes and pubs along the trail OR you can make it a race and try to get to the top of the city leaderboard! Fun and interesting
A really fun and interesting way to see the city. My partner has lived in Glasgow most of his life and even he learned lots of new things and saw a few parts of the city he’d never visited. Most of the puzzles were easy to follow and definitely gave you that burst of “yay!” when you guessed correctly. Maybe a few too many “count the number of A and B” puzzles however, as this lead to a couple of frustrated walks around the square outside the Cathedral counting lampposts on a busy day. It would also be great if the Quest took you into the Necropolis rather than having to pause it for a few hours! But overall we had a lovely time. Always have a lot of fun with these quests and we can’t wait to try the York one next :)

Frustrating, Needs Updated
We struggled to understand the directions within the app, which made it challenging to solve puzzles because we were sometimes not in quite the right place. There were typos in the historical information and some of the puzzles seemed like they were based on outdated information. This one needs an update before anyone plays it again. We abandoned the quest after being frustrated trying to do it for almost 2 hours. As someone traveling internationally to visit with limited time, I wish I hadn’t wasted it on this.
Response from the operator: Hi. We are sorry that you didn't have a good experience with the Glasgow Quest. We always send a email out after a Quest to get feedback (even if you didn't complete it) and we didn't hear from you....so this is the first that we have heard about puzzles that might need an update. It would be helpful for you to give some more details in the email we sent you which puzzles you struggled with. But we will also send out someone to check. We have had many others play this Quest recently and haven't had this feedback...so thank you for letting us know. In terms of directions, there is always a map hint available within the app so you know exactly where you should be. Not sure if you used that function or not. We appreciate you taking the time to send this along as it gives us an opportunity to take another look and get someone out to check the trail :)

Overrated and overpriced
This was an underwhelming experience. I have done quite a few of these quests in the past and was disappointed with the overall quality of the tour. Some mistakes in the directions which is confusing. Yes you see a bit of the city, yes you learn a few things but the questions were overall uninspiring and far fetched.

It would be helpful if you could respond to our email about the mistakes in directions (to look at making an update if necessary), as this is not feedback we've had from the 100s that have played this Quest.
