    My initial request for...

My initial request for this tour was for 3pm however the confirmation i received was for 12 noon. I had to cancel another tour because of this time change. I received several messages a few days before the tour telling me that the 3pm time I requested was confirmed. Then I got another message saying to ignore that message and then another one saying that my reservation was for noon. The instruction for pickup was that the bus would be "adjacent to the Amore restaurant". It turned out that the pickup was actually at the opposite end of the block nowhere near the restaurant. The driver did not have me listed for noon but for 3pm. So the staff kindly set up up a seat for me at the only available table. Unfortunately it had an obstruction under the table so I couldn't sit normally. There were plenty of sweets with a few savory sandwiches. Second helpings were available also.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the confusion surrounding your booking time and pickup location, and we understand how frustrating this must have been, particularly after receiving conflicting messages. We’re pleased that our team was able to accommodate you on the day and arrange a seat despite the booking information showing a different time. We’re also sorry that the table provided was not as comfortable as it should have been. We appreciate your comments regarding the pickup instructions and will review how the location is communicated to guests to help avoid any confusion in the future. We’re glad you were able to enjoy the food and that additional servings were available. Thank you again for your feedback. We value your comments and will use them to help improve the experience for our guests.

    30th birthday bash

Absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Jim the driver kept us all safe and even assisted us up to sit behind the wheel. Helen our host made the day, she was just fantastic. Was so much more than we expected, loved the banter and the sing a long. Only thing I would add is the seats are not built for 2 larger ladies to sit side by side. Will definitely book again ❤️

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review. We’re delighted to hear you had such a fabulous time with us. Jim will be thrilled to know you felt safe and well‑looked‑after, and Helen will be over the moon to hear she helped make your day so memorable — she really does love bringing the fun, the banter, and the sing‑alongs to life. We truly appreciate your comment about the seating. Feedback like this helps us continue improving the experience for all our guests, and we’ll certainly take it on board. It means a lot that you’d choose to join us again. We’d love to welcome you back for another great day out.

Glasgow Gin Tea Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Glasgow.

How much does Glasgow Gin Tea Experience cost?

    +

Prices start at $72 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Glasgow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Glasgow Gin Tea Experience take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Glasgow is not rushed.

Is Glasgow Gin Tea Experience worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 87 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Glasgow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Glasgow Gin Tea Experience?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Glasgow Gin Tea Experience suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Glasgow Gin Tea Experience?

    +

Around 30 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Glasgow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Glasgow and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Glasgow Gin Tea Experience start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Glasgow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Glasgow?

    +

On Outty we rank every Glasgow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Glasgow: Celtic Park Tour & Dine Package, Gander Walking Tours in Glasgow, Glasgow: The Clydeside Distillery Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Glasgow?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Glasgow?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Glasgow Gin Tea Experience?

    +

Included: Alcoholic beverages; Home baked warm scone with cream, jam and strawberry garnish; Handmade Sandwich selections; Warm mini Quiche; and Selection of Petit Fours. Not included: Souvenir drinks cup. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Where is the meeting point for Glasgow Gin Tea Experience?

    +

The pick up point is adjacent to Amore Restaurant. Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.

What languages is Glasgow Gin Tea Experience offered in?

    +

It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Glasgow Gin Tea Experience?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

Is Glasgow Gin Tea Experience wheelchair or stroller accessible?

    +

The operator notes: Red Bus Bistro’s Bus was registered in 1966; it consists of Drivers Cab, upper deck, lower. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.

What happens to Glasgow Gin Tea Experience if the weather is bad?

    +

It generally runs rain or shine, so dress for the forecast in Glasgow. Standard cancellation terms apply: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start.

What do travelers say about Glasgow Gin Tea Experience?

    +
