Stephen, the Glasgow man in kilt, delivers.
Stephen, a friendly Glasgow local, providing a safe and personalized comprehensive tour, guiding us to the most popular and some forgotten locales, murals, fantastical architecture, new and the oldest iconic places of both interiors and exteriors, including authentic Outlander sites. All with a deep and entertaining storytelling manner...allowing time for photos, and while wearing his historic family kilt. Stephen simply ushered us expertly in exceeding our expectations and interest in atmospheric Glasgow. This walk was a truly enjoyable highlight after our own recent 12 day circle tour of Scotland. He is a super great resource for recommendations in Glasgow. Be ready to walk about and be amazed.
Response from the operator: I am honestly touched by your review, thank you so much. You have my number please use it if ever you need me for anything. I am disappointed with myself though as just before the tour finished Paul told me he had been in the army and the navy and I didn’t take the chance to have him elaborate, there is a good story to be told there. It was lovely to meet you both, you really are a lovely couple.

Excellent introduction to the city centre
Our guide, Stephen, a real Glaswegian true and true, took us on a journey through time and shared his knowledge of a city he obviously loves. Educative, rich in colors, anectodes, stories and legends we truly enjoyed this tour. He also gave us great advice as to how to fight the midges when our voyage will take us to the Highlands. Thank you for the great tour, Stephen.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your lovely review and have a great adventure in the highlands, it really is beautiful up there. Don’t hesitate to use my number if you need to it is there to be used. I really enjoyed your company, thank you for today.

A great tour with a proud Glaswegian.
Stephen our tour guide was excellent. He was very conscientious of our well being to ensure we weren’t getting too tired, trip over things and to watch our step on sloped floors. Before the tour I had questions and he answered them immediately. During the tour he was a wealth of knowledge. We have been on other walking tours where the guide looked like he hasn’t washed his outfit in days. Not Stephen. He was dressed to the nines from head to toe. You could use his shoes for a mirror, they were that well polished. Thanks for a great tour Stephen.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind review. I learnt as much from you as you did from me it was an absolute pleasure meeting you both

Great walk!
Stephen, our guide, was exceptional. His knowledge and insight were outstanding. He shared Glasgow’s history, culture and the everyday life of the city. He was quick witted and imbued the tour with humorous anecdotes. His passion for his hometown was evident. Stephen was also extremely considerate of our needs and paced the walk accordingly.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind review. The pleasure was mine you are both great company

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Glasgow City Centre Outlander Walking Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Glasgow.
How much does Glasgow City Centre Outlander Walking Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $7 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Glasgow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Glasgow City Centre Outlander Walking Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Glasgow is not rushed.
Is Glasgow City Centre Outlander Walking Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Glasgow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Glasgow City Centre Outlander Walking Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Glasgow City Centre Outlander Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Glasgow City Centre Outlander Walking Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Glasgow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Glasgow and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Glasgow City Centre Outlander Walking Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Glasgow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Glasgow?
+
On Outty we rank every Glasgow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Glasgow: Celtic Park Tour & Dine Package, Gander Walking Tours in Glasgow, Glasgow: The Clydeside Distillery Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Glasgow?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Glasgow?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Glasgow City Centre Outlander Walking Tour?
+
Included: Scottish Guide. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does Glasgow City Centre Outlander Walking Tour include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 3 listed pickup locations in and around Glasgow. Be ready about 10 minutes before the start time.
What languages is Glasgow City Centre Outlander Walking Tour offered in?
+

+
