Lovely way to spend half a day outside Paris
We had wanted to visit Giverny for quite some time and were very pleased we finally did. Its such a beautiful place to go. The gardens were lovely, and it was quite special to recognise some of the scenes from Monet’s paintings while walking around. I also really appreciated the wonderful guide, Andres, from the tour company. He is not only very helpful but also super sweet. We were having some trouble downloading the audio guide onto our phones and he patiently helped us set everything up before the visit. The team from the tour company also explained clearly where to enter, how to find the different parts of the garden and where we needed to meet afterwards, which made things much easier for us. The excursion duration is just right, & felt comfortable. We had enough time to enjoy the being rush, which is important. Its actually quite a lovely way to spend half a day outside Paris, especially if you are such as art geek.
Response from the operator: Dear tarveler, Thank you very much for your message. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your visit to Giverny and had the opportunity to discover Monet’s gardens at your own pace. We are also very happy to know that Andrés and our team were able to assist you and make your experience even more enjoyable. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again very soon. Kind regards, Extime Travel

Exceptional and worth every penny!
Truly a wonderful experience!! I highly recommend the upgrade to a tour guide in person over the audio guide. Cristel was amazing and very informative, she gave us information on the bus and all around the gardens. Other reviews mention confusion around pick up but we found it very easy, just make sure you arrive at least 15m early just to be sure. A perfect amount of time for visiting the gardens, pond and house and having Cristel showing us around the gardens etc made the experience truly that much better. (She only guides those who paid for the in person tour though). Another note is that the tour guide won’t join you in the house due to it being quite small however she gave us plenty of useful information about Monet, his family, his gardens and his work before we entered. Furthermore there is some time to view the streets surrounding the house which are just as beautiful if you alot your time efficiently. Truly couldn't have had a better experience and definitely would recommend to others. 100/10 experience and one of the most spectacular gardens me or my mum have ever seen. Emily in Paris!

Great experience
Crystal was and excellent guide for the tour. Very knowledgeable. Meeting spot is a bit confusing- just look for the coach buses and walk in that direction.

Perfect half day trip on a 106 degree day
Perfect half day experience. We got there early and it was so organized we beat the crowd and we were able to view the house and gardens before the large crowd. New airconditioned coach with bathroom. We had an hour to walk around on our own which was the best part. Even had time to enjoy the cafe at the end before getting back on the bus back to Paris.

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Giverny and Monet's House Half Day Trip from Paris Guide or Audio: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.
How much does Giverny and Monet's House Half Day Trip from Paris Guide or Audio cost?
+
Prices start at $62 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Giverny and Monet's House Half Day Trip from Paris Guide or Audio take?
+
Plan for about 5.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.
Is Giverny and Monet's House Half Day Trip from Paris Guide or Audio worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 1,370 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Giverny and Monet's House Half Day Trip from Paris Guide or Audio?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Giverny and Monet's House Half Day Trip from Paris Guide or Audio suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Giverny and Monet's House Half Day Trip from Paris Guide or Audio?
+
Around 479 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 5.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Giverny and Monet's House Half Day Trip from Paris Guide or Audio start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Paris?
+
Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Paris?
+
April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Paris?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
