About this experience
Nestled along the coastal line with a backdrop of the Andes' foothills, our distillery stands amidst a serene setting of palm trees, vermillion flycatchers, and pink peppercorn trees. It serves as a tranquil escape from the bustling energy of Lima. Distinguishing itself, our gin boasts a unique foundation: Pisco, distilled in-house, lends it a character unrivaled by any other. Meanwhile, our Rum derives its essence from locally sourced fresh cane juice. Our commitment to handcrafting reaches unparalleled heights. From nights spent snug beside the stills to collecting glacial water atop the Cordillera Blanca mountain range over 4000 meters high, Alex (Founder, Distiller, and CEO) imbues every aspect with meticulous attention and a hands-on ethos. The barrel house envelops visitors in heady aromas that linger long after departure. We extend an exclusive invitation to witness firsthand the making of these exceptional spirits and the captivating narrative that accompanies them.

Unique and personal tour with a lot of history
We had an amazing tour with Daniel and Joao! The history of each bottle and its branding was so interesting. We’re very lucky to have tried the only Sloe gin in America! Would highly recommend for a day out.

Spirits with soul
I had the opportunity to visit this distillery located in Chilca, just an hour south of Lima, and the experience was truly exceptional. Surrounded by nature and blessed with a warm climate, the location seems as thoughtfully chosen as the ingredients they use. From the very first moment, you can feel the passion and precision behind their work. Every detail is carefully considered and executed with a clear commitment to excellence. This isn’t just a distillery—it’s a place where the craft of distilling is honored with inspiring dedication. The products are of outstanding quality, easily rivaling renowned spirits from around the world. You can taste the quality in every sip, a result of using meticulously selected local ingredients with guaranteed traceability. What’s even more admirable is their commitment to the environment. It’s clear that behind every bottle is a deep respect for nature, incorporating sustainable and responsible practices throughout their process. A very special mention to Daniel and Joao, who made this tour truly unforgettable. Their warmth, passion, and dedication shone through every moment, elevating the experience to a whole new level. Truly a source of Peruvian pride that deserves recognition both locally and internationally. Highly recommended!

Amazing craft distillery tour close to Lima
We visited the London to Lima Distillery as a group of friends, and it was an unforgettable experience! The tour was both informative and fun—Daniel, the distiller, walked us through the complexities of fermentation and distillation with such passion that we were completely captivated. The aromas in the barrel house were incredible, and getting to taste rum straight from the barrels, from freshly filled to four years old, was an amazing highlight. After the tour, we sat down for a fantastic lunch. The firewood-cooked chicken and anticuchos were absolutely delicious, and the cocktails were out of this world! Along with rum, we also enjoyed some incredible gin cocktails made with their exceptional gin, distilled right on-site. It was the perfect balance of flavors, and everyone in the group loved trying something new. Whether you're a rum lover, a gin enthusiast, or just looking for a unique experience outside Lima, this place is a must-visit!

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Gin and Rum Distillery Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lima.
How much does Gin and Rum Distillery Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $24 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lima usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Gin and Rum Distillery Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lima is not rushed.
Is Gin and Rum Distillery Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 39 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lima, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Gin and Rum Distillery Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Gin and Rum Distillery Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Gin and Rum Distillery Tour?
+
Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lima can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lima and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Gin and Rum Distillery Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lima within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lima?
+
On Outty we rank every Lima experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Paracas & Huacachina Premium Experience from Lima, Day Tour From Lima: Paracas, Huacachina, Pisco Vineyard & Sunset, Premium Paracas & Huacachina Day Trip from Lima with Sunset Toast. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lima?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lima?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
