About this experience
Parasailing is a recreational activity where a person (two may also ride at the same time) is towed behind a boat while attached to a parachute. A harness attaches to the parasail, which is connected to the boat. The boat then drives off, carrying the passenger into the air. The passenger has no control over the parachute. The activity is primarily a fun ride. There’s nothing else like it. A literal bird’s eye view, without the buzz of an airplane deafening you. You can see from the vantage point for Dubai’s skyline and landmarks such as The Palm Island, Jumeirah Beach Residence, The Walk, Sheik's Island, Burj Al Arab to the horizon as you float along behind the boat, peaceful and calm, entirely at ease. You get to experience the world from high above, seeing a bigger scale than many people manage in their lifetime.

This was amazing, the view from the top ziplining over the City was everything, I was a little nervous at first but it wasn't bad at all! I would definitely do it again!

Rushed
Honestly, the experience would have been great if they had adhered to the time stated in the advertisement. We were put onto a boat with two other couples, three including ourselves and taken out to the water. Somehow, in 1 hour, they managed to drive out to sea, harness us up, give a safety explanation, complete the "20-minute minimum" experience for three couples and go back, all within an hour. That meant that each pair had roughly 10 minutes in the sky. I feel for $160-200; it was rushed and too brief. That's the same as paying $16-20 per minute. Before you know it, you are returning just as you begin taking it all in. For $100, you could rent a boat and do wakeboarding or wake surfing and get the whole hour to yourself, where the time starts when you are out to sea*. That would have been a better investment. Besides that, the crew were kind, helpful and professional but evidently against some time constraints. Overall, it would have been enjoyable if the experience were true to its word, but I feel we were robbed—what a shame.
Response from the operator: Hey Samuel, I believe there has been a misunderstanding, the 20-minute minimum refers to the entire experience, including being taken out to sea. The flight time is in fact around 10 minutes on average. All of this depends on weather conditions of course. Regardless, I'm very sorry that you had a negative experience with us, and if we have miscommunicated anything. Please drop by the next time you're in the area so that we can make it up to you! :) Best regards.

Stunning View
Firstly, Sky & Sea Adventure is easy to find in the middle of one of the famous beaches in Dubai. Secondly, The team is very very very nice and welcome. Thirdly, it is very quick from the time you get to the place to... the sky (prepare for an exciting boat ride too). When you are in the sky, the view is amazing (you can bring your phone with you if you have a very secure pocket - a pic up there is lit) It was a nice experience. Waves gonna hit you on the boat, and the stunning sun gonna hit you in the sky.
Response from the operator: We're so happy to hear that you had a good time with us An, thank you so much!

This little excursion was such a good choice. We had a hard time picking a parasailing place but were glad to find this one! Great customer service. There was even a photographer available (at additional cost) to capture memories for us.
Response from the operator: Dear Larissad we are more than happy to hear such good review. Parasailing is our one of the most famous activities in Dubai JBR beach. we are sure we will see you again.

Why this scores 52
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Get a Bird's Eye View of the Famous Dubai Marina Skyline with Parasailing: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubai.
How much does Get a Bird's Eye View of the Famous Dubai Marina Skyline with Parasailing cost?
+
Prices start at $350 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Get a Bird's Eye View of the Famous Dubai Marina Skyline with Parasailing take?
+
Plan for about 0.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubai is not rushed.
Is Get a Bird's Eye View of the Famous Dubai Marina Skyline with Parasailing worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Get a Bird's Eye View of the Famous Dubai Marina Skyline with Parasailing?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Get a Bird's Eye View of the Famous Dubai Marina Skyline with Parasailing suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 0.3-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Get a Bird's Eye View of the Famous Dubai Marina Skyline with Parasailing?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubai and add a light layer if any part of the 0.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Get a Bird's Eye View of the Famous Dubai Marina Skyline with Parasailing start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubai?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubai Premium Red Dunes Safari, Camels & 5* BBQ at Al Khayma Camp, Dubai: Red Dunes Safari, Quad, Camel, Dune Bash, BBQ & Shows, Dubai Dune Buggy Safari Tour in Red Dunes Options. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
