Don’t buy it

We did not like the tour at all, when choosing the audio of the experience ours was not listed. So we got no information about La sagrada familia

Response from the operator: Dear Leyla, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review, and please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience you experienced during your visit to La Sagrada Familia. We’re truly sorry to hear that the audio content was not available in your preferred language. The Gaudí and La Sagrada Familia Exterior Self-Guided Audio Tour is currently offered only in English and Spanish, which is clearly stated in the tour description. However, we understand that this may have been missed, and we regret that it impacted your experience negatively. As this is a digital product, we strive to provide clear instructions and accurate details before purchase, but we completely understand how frustrating it can be to feel left out of the experience due to a language barrier. To make it up to you, we’d be more than happy to offer you free access to another audio tour in either English or Spanish — whether in Barcelona or in another city where we operate. We hope this can give you the opportunity to enjoy the type of experience we aim to deliver. Please let us know where you'll be traveling next, or if there's a particular monument you'd like to explore with us. Warm regards, The Soundwalkrs Team Customer Care

Impossible to Find Audio Tour and No Help by Tour Operator

After several attempts to reach the tour operator, we reached out to Viator and have asked for a full refund. The pickup audio tour location was impossible to find and we asked tourist information officers and Sagrada security and none could figure it out. It was an awful experience.

Response from the operator: Dear Laura, We sincerely apologize for the difficulties you experienced with locating the pickup audio tour and the inconvenience it caused. We understand how frustrating this must have been for you. Please note that our tours are designed to be self-guided, and all the necessary information, including how to access the audio guide, is provided in your ticket. We apologize if this information was not clear. Regarding your refund request, according to our updated policy detailed in the ticket, refunds are not applicable for cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled travel date. We regret any inconvenience caused and sincerely apologize that we are unable to offer a refund in this particular situation. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our services. We hope you will give us another opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future. Best regards, Soundwalkrs Team.

You will walk around the area surround it, going to take the perfect picture of every angle. It was a very creative way to get to know the story with sound effects.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the fantastic feedback! We're thrilled our Sagrada Familia experience provided a creative way to understand Gaudi's story, even for those who couldn't go inside. Exploring the area with sound effects added a special touch. Totally misrepresented

Until recent edits to title and description you could easily be misled that this was a tour of the interior of La Sagrada. Instead you are stuck outside with the requirement to download a phone app and use your own earphones - for a tour of the EXTERIOR. To use this "tour" at all means you must have active mobile data on your phone and earphones. Even the directions link opened a map with the red pointer at the middle of the opposite park - in the middle of the park pond! This tour was intended to deceive until recent edits. Viator needs to protect their reputation.

Response from the operator: Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention, and we sincerely apologize for any confusion or inconvenience you experienced with the La Sagrada tour. We value your feedback and take your comments seriously. Regarding the issue with the directions link leading to an incorrect location, we are investigating this matter promptly to rectify any inaccuracies in the provided information. Our aim is to enhance the overall user experience and ensure that our customers can navigate seamlessly through their chosen tours.

Rip off!!

Awful!! Worst booked excursion ever! Not sure what we paid for! An audio recording, standing on the street!!

Response from the operator: We regret that you have not properly read our product offering. . Our offer is an Audio Guided experience through the place with Actors acting out a story. Many of our users have loved it. We hope you will give it another chance to live a unique and different experience by visiting Montmarte and other spectacular places full of history. Regards

Gaudi and La Sagrada Familia Exterior Self-Guided Audio Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.

How much does Gaudi and La Sagrada Familia Exterior Self-Guided Audio Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $11 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Gaudi and La Sagrada Familia Exterior Self-Guided Audio Tour take?

+

Plan for about 0.7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.

Is Gaudi and La Sagrada Familia Exterior Self-Guided Audio Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 44 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.1/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Gaudi and La Sagrada Familia Exterior Self-Guided Audio Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Gaudi and La Sagrada Familia Exterior Self-Guided Audio Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 0.7-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Gaudi and La Sagrada Familia Exterior Self-Guided Audio Tour?

+

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 0.7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Gaudi and La Sagrada Familia Exterior Self-Guided Audio Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Barcelona?

+

Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Barcelona?

+

May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Barcelona?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
