Thank you for makin our day! 10/10 Stars!

We have booked wine tour and got surprised with such a curation of fsmily owned wineries. We have been in Kakheti last year but this tour was very well planned and delivered. We have asked for customisation and got to the family owned winery where we could bake bread and cook Khinkali, we had opportunity to participate in Georgian sweets making. We were served without the food we prepared by ourselves. It was journey and advanture with lots of WOW moments. Thanks to Mamika for his assistance during our stay in Georgia. Highly reccomand! We will definately book them again next year.

A Wonderful Day in Kakheti - Great Wine and Warm People 🍇

We joined the Kakheti Wine Region Tour with Restingeorgia and it was such a fantastic experience! Our guide Irakli was friendly and very knowledgeable he shared so many interesting stories about Georgian wine traditions and life in the countryside. At the local family winery, Giorgi and Lali welcomed us with open arms. We tasted their homemade wines, learned about the qvevri method and even helped prepare shoti bread and churchkhela. The homemade lunch with grilled meat, salad and wine from their own cellar was simply perfect. Everything felt personal and authentic. Restingeorgia made the day smooth and memorable we’d happily recommend this tour to anyone visiting Georgia!

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience! We’re thrilled that your day in Kakheti felt personal, authentic, and full of flavor from the wine tastings to making shoti bread and churchkhela. Irakli, Giorgi and Lali will be delighted to hear your kind words. We hope to welcome you back to explore more of Georgia’s treasures soon! Warm regards, RestinGeorgia Team

Authentic Kakheti Experience Great Wine, Food & People! 🍷

We spent an unforgettable day exploring the Kakheti Wine Region with Restingeorgia and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Georgia. Our guide Tamar was knowledgeable and full of positive energy. She explained everything about Georgian winemaking traditions, local villages and life in the countryside. The drive through the scenic Gombori Pass was already worth it such beautiful landscapes! When we arrived at the family-owned winery, we were greeted with such warmth that it immediately felt like visiting close friends. Gia and Nata, our wonderful hosts, welcomed us into their vineyard, offered fresh grapes straight from the vines and showed us every step of their traditional winemaking process using qvevri the ancient clay vessels buried underground. Afterwards, we joined them in fun, hands-on activities baking Kakhetian shoti bread in a clay oven and making churchkhela, the famous Georgian sweet. It was a joyful, authentic experience that made us laugh and learn at the same time. The home-cooked lunch that followed was unforgettable juicy mtsvadi grilled over open fire, garden-fresh salads, local cheese and of course, their own house wine. The whole atmosphere was full of kindness and genuine Georgian hospitality something you can’t fake and will never forget. This tour offered the perfect mix of culture, nature and local life. Restingeorgia did an excellent job organizing everything smoothly and we can’t recommend them enough. If you want to feel the real soul of Kakheti this is the way to do it!

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing such a detailed and heartfelt review! We’re delighted that Tamar, Gia and Nata helped make your Kakheti wine experience so authentic and joyful from the scenic drive to baking shoti bread and tasting homemade wine. It’s wonderful to hear that the tour captured the soul of Kakheti for you. We hope to welcome you back for more memorable moments in Georgia! Warm regards, RestinGeorgia Team

Fully Private Full-Day Kakheti - Wine Region Guided Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tbilisi.

How much does Fully Private Full-Day Kakheti - Wine Region Guided Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tbilisi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Fully Private Full-Day Kakheti - Wine Region Guided Tour take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tbilisi is not rushed.

Is Fully Private Full-Day Kakheti - Wine Region Guided Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tbilisi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Fully Private Full-Day Kakheti - Wine Region Guided Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Fully Private Full-Day Kakheti - Wine Region Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Fully Private Full-Day Kakheti - Wine Region Guided Tour?

+

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tbilisi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tbilisi and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Fully Private Full-Day Kakheti - Wine Region Guided Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tbilisi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tbilisi?

+

On Outty we rank every Tbilisi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tbilisi:Evening Walking & Talking Tour with Wine & Boat Ride, Tbilisi:Mtskheta,Jvari,Bazaar, wine tasting,Chronicles of Georgia, Kakheti Wine Region Tour + 10 Premium Wine Tastings & Sunset. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tbilisi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tbilisi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
