Blue Mountains, scenic world and animals
Scott was very knowledgeable and made our first day in Sydney memorable. We are grateful that he worked with our schedule and interests. Feeding the animals and seeing the Blue Mountains was a great way to kick off our trip here. We also went to a great cafe for lunch. I would highly recommend this experience!!!
Response from the operator: Dear Debra, Thank you for taking the time to write a lovely review - we really appreciate it! I am so glad that you had a great first day in Sydney and I wish all the best for your marathon this weekend. I was a pleasure to meet you both. Kind Regards Scott

Blue Mountain, Scenic World and Featherdale
Scott was a wonderful tour guide and very knowledgeable about all the sites we saw. He obtained the tickets to all the sites we visited and tailored the tour to our liking. One of the highlights was feeding the kangaroos and see the baby kangaroos in the mother's pouches.
Response from the operator: Thank you Gail for your review. It was a pleasure to meet your family and show you the amazing Australian animals and the beautiful Blue Mountains. Best wishes Scott & Julia

Exceptional Tour of the Blue Mountains!
Perfect day with Scott as our tour guide — I recommend him without hesitation! Scott planned every detail of our visit to the Blue Mountains and shared a wealth of information about the history, culture, and landscape of Sydney and the surrounding areas. Our day began at Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park, where Scott guided us through the highlights and explained animal behavior and native species. He also took photos for us so we didn’t miss a moment — he captured our amazement while interacting with the kangaroos. We enjoyed a delicious lunch in Leura, and Scott suggested a stop for fresh chocolate — some of the best I’ve ever had. Afterward we rode the world’s steepest railway, walked through the valley, and took the cable car across the Jamison Valley. At scenic lookouts, Scott pointed out features of the mountains and shared more insights about the region’s geography and wildlife. I had an outstanding experience and will absolutely call Scott again when I return to Australia.
Response from the operator: Hello Risa, Thank you for writing such a lovely review. It was such a fun day and lovely to meet you both! I am so glad that you enjoyed your tour. Looking forward to Welcoming you and your family next time you are in Australia. Wishing you safe travels! Kind Regards Scott

The Best Tour in Australia
We'd heard great things about Scott and Sydney Private Tours from a good friend of ours that did tours with them right after COVID. They raved about the stop in Featherdale Wildlife Park and their knowledge of the area. Well, everything they said about Scott and Julia was absolutely correct! Scott worked with us to get my wife's entire bucket list filled. She got to feed kangaroos, pet koalas and see the fantastic sights in the Blue Mountains. Scott picked us up at our hotel and gave us remarkable insights into Australia, its history and its scenic wonders. His knowledge of the area was complete and he was able to answer all of our questions. Living in this part of Australia all of his life has given him some marvelous insights into the history of Australia as well. Scott's vehicle was an SUV so having some mobility issues isn't a problem. Several times during the trip he tried to limit the amount of back-and-forth walking that we had to do. Scott did such a great job that we hired him to show us the Half Day Highlights when our cruise ship docked in Sydney in February. This tour is definitely the best way to see the Sydney area. I would highly recommend it.
Response from the operator: Thank you Uke for your lovely review and kind words! It was our pleasure to show you around the Blue Mountain's and we are thrilled that you enjoyed your tour and got to cross off some Bucket List items. Wishing you all the very best, Kind Regards Julia & Scott

Best day of our trip!
Scott was knowledgeable and helpful. Having the option to spend extra time in places (like stopping for chocolate and ice cream in Leura or spending extra time feeding kangaroos) made the private tour the best option for us. Would do again and would highly recommend to others.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are glad you enjoyed the relaxed pace of you tour and we agree, stopping for Chocolate and extra time to feed the Kangaroos really makes the day memorable and unique. Wishing you all the best! Kind Regards Scott & Julia, Sydney Private Day Tours

Why this scores 74
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Fully Inclusive Blue Mountains Private Tour inc Scenic World & Featherdale Entry: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.
How much does Fully Inclusive Blue Mountains Private Tour inc Scenic World & Featherdale Entry cost?
+
Prices start at $546 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Fully Inclusive Blue Mountains Private Tour inc Scenic World & Featherdale Entry take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.
Is Fully Inclusive Blue Mountains Private Tour inc Scenic World & Featherdale Entry worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 59 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Fully Inclusive Blue Mountains Private Tour inc Scenic World & Featherdale Entry?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Fully Inclusive Blue Mountains Private Tour inc Scenic World & Featherdale Entry suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Fully Inclusive Blue Mountains Private Tour inc Scenic World & Featherdale Entry?
+
Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Fully Inclusive Blue Mountains Private Tour inc Scenic World & Featherdale Entry start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sydney?
+
On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sydney?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sydney?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
