It was a lovely experience to go to the National park and other destinations. I have been using their services for several years and have found them to be very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
Response from the operator: Gday Naresh ji, thanks for taking time to review us. Highly appreciated . Good to know you had a great time. Have a great day

Not worth the money ....
Not worth the money . Late pick up from what my app said . No aboriginal stuff like the app said . Surprised we went to Perth mint but it was good but we were late to the tour. Caves were great
Response from the operator: Gday Christine - Thanks for your remarks, sadly drivers do get a bit delayed in city presently, due to road work changes and construction activity going on. Good to know you enjoyed the Perth Mint and the Underground caves too. Hope you have a great time in Perth

Terrible Day Tour -- Full Day Yanchep National Park, Cave & Hillarys
Me and my wife was in Perth for 9 days and had signed up for a number of day trips covering all the major points of interests, including Pinnacles, Margaret River, Wave Rock etc. Then, we had one free day, which we decided to fill by taking this full day Yanchep tour with cave and visit to Hillarys. We were a bit apprehensive at first because the price was quite hefty, AUD$200+, that doesn't include any meals, or expensive entry tickets. Nonetheless, since we had time to kill, we went for it, hoping for the best. The tour didn't start well. I tried to call and confirm the pick up time and location, and also inform Aussie Perth Tours about a potential road closure at my hotel. Nobody bothered to reply to my message and calls were engaged all the time. The driver came to pick us up at 9am. We were shocked to learn that we were the only 2 customers. That didn't bode well ...... As it turned out, this is the most over-sold, and over-priced tours I had in Perth. Along the way, commentary was minimal, almost non existent. The places we visited were anything but interesting. The cave tour was boring, very badly lit, and the guide was basically talking to himself most of the time. Then, the driver dropped us at a spot in Yanchep Park, telling us to roam around for 15 min, without telling us anything else -- eg the significance of the place, or what to see or do. So we wondered off, trying to spend the 15 minutes meaningfully. Basically there is nothing to see or do. We went back to the van, and the driver wasn't even there. 8 minutes later, he returned to the van, with his breakfast. I guess the spot was chosen so that he can get his breakfast? Then, a short distance drive later, we arrived at the Koala place. All the koalas were all high up in the trees. Nothing to see there. Then, the driver said to drive us to another place, without saying what is there. I thought we were supposed to have some kind of bushwalk or something or see some kangaroos in the wild, like what the tour description said .... but no. We arrived at this park. Again, he dropped us off, and told us to roam around for 30 mins, again, without offering more information about the significance of the place, what to do, what to see. Again, we had to try to spend 30 minutes of our time meaningfully at this park, which we failed. After the agonizing 30 minutes passed, he drove us to the Hillarys. After telling us there are food places in the mall, and there is this Aqua place we can visit (tickets not included), he again dropped us off, without any further information. He then said another van will pick us up and return us to the hotel at 3:30pm. If we ended up earlier, we can call them to send a driver early. The marina was nice, but the mall was very run-down. Nothing to shop there and nothing much to eat. Again, we had to somehow stretch our time to fill up the 2.5 hours we have. Again, we failed because there is simply nothing to do there. (The Aqua tickets were expensive. We are not doing to spend more $$ after spending $200+ each pax for this useless tour). After lunch, we couldn't stand it any longer and called them to pick us up at 3:15pm. In summary, this tour is the worst !!!!! DO NOT sign up for this tour. This is the MOST OVERSOLD and OVERPRICED tour. Considering the fact that a full day Wave Rock tour (by another agency) costs $200+ person, covered 10+ hours of driving (this tour only covers 2+ hours of driving), and included lunch (this tour doesn't include any meals. The only entry was to Yanchep which is just A$17 per vehicle).
Response from the operator: Gday Boon Heng Goh, Our records indicate you joined the tour on 12 Nov 2024. For same day & tour, we had a cancellation of a family of 4 in the morning as one person was not feeling well, but so as not to spoil your day we still operated the tour, even though our minimum required tour numbers were not met. We are sure that the ticket price etc was all known to you before you booked the tour with Viator. You mention you tried to phone us but we sadly do not have a record of same as we are on human call 24 x 7 x 365. May be you phoneyour Agent you booked with ie Viator So you received a Personal tour by yourself at no extra cost which we offered, so your day was not wasted On way to Yanchep there is sadly not much to show you on the freeway & on checking with Coach Tour guide he informs us he did inform you of the days programme and showed you sights and suburbs on the way. You mention the cave was dark, most caves are, unless they are artifically lighted & that would destroy the ambience and experiecne of Caving. The Crystal cave does have enought lights to guide people around. Sadly then u also mention that thecave Tour Guide was inept, which is very strange as they are all very highly experienced and knowledgeable people. Koalas are in their element on the top of trees and normally stay amongst the tree branches. Sadly we cannot assist you more with it. You were viewing them in their natural habitat You were dropped at Hillarys and most people visit the Aquarium, (also beach, marina, jetty shopping for clothes, food, souveniours etc ) that show cases the variety of aquatic life along the West Australian coast. If you did not want to do so it was your choice. You requested us to pick you up early as you were bored by Hillarys & we did so to asssist you . The lady driver, who was rushed out, informs us she took you along the coastal and scenic route that has lovely homes , ocean and beaches etc. You requested her to be dropped to the Water front shopping area , which was done. The driver then informed you that she would be happy to wait for you and drop you back to hotel, but you passed a sarcastic remark also that "you will charge me $ 200 ' for it, for which even your wife chided you . Sorry to note that everything on tour , that thousands of people enjoyed in last over 25 years of our company offers, there was nothing that was good for you. Hope you have a great week ahead

Avoid!!! The cancel and on you last minute
These people will let you book the experience and wait till 9pm the day before to cancel on you, leaving you with absolutely no time to book another tour for the day. They cancel via text message and then ask you to call. When you request information via messaging, they don’t reply. Even the booking agency couldn’t get in touch with them. Avoid them at all cost. Rent a car and do the tours yourself- you’ll be better off and at least ensure you get something done!
Response from the operator: Hello Mercedes -Thanks for your comments. We tried calling you many times via your mobile as this was the only means we had to reach you. However, unfortunately your mobile was just not connecting. Hence we could not contact you earlier to advise you. Neither did we have the details of your hotel pickup to contact via hotel reception. We also did not have your email address to correspond with you. So in the end we messaged you as it was very difficult to liase with you. As this tour had not met the minimum numbers requirement, we were trying our best to advise you as you were the only one person on the tour on that date and hence we had to cancel the tour. Most of the times we provide alternative tours which most customers accept, if not then we advise the agent to give you a full refund. Unfortunately, we did not get any phone calls from this agent either as you mentioned here. Wishing you all the best in future and apologise for any inconvenience caused to you.

Very pleasant experience
Driver came to Pick me up at the hotel, got a very informative quick guided Tour of Perth, drove with other guest to Hillary with the aquarium. Visit of aquarium is worthwhile, also strolling on the Marina. Then with the bus to Yanchep, Graham is a very friendly and competent guide and driver, professional and customer oriented, gives interesting additional information. The Crystal Cave is an interesting site with good guides. Had a nice lunch at the Yanchep Inn, then a pleasant ride back to the hotel. All around very satisfied with Tour Operator.
Response from the operator: Gday JR -Thanks a lot for your lovely comments, much appreciated. Hope you had a great time in Perth. Thanks for offering us an opportunity to be able to provide sightseeing tours to you. Hope to provide similar services to your friends in future too. Enjoy your time in Australia

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full Day Yanchep National Park, Cave and Hillarys: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Perth.
How much does Full Day Yanchep National Park, Cave and Hillarys cost?
+
Prices start at $195 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Perth usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full Day Yanchep National Park, Cave and Hillarys take?
+
Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Perth is not rushed.
Is Full Day Yanchep National Park, Cave and Hillarys worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Perth, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Yanchep National Park, Cave and Hillarys?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full Day Yanchep National Park, Cave and Hillarys suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full Day Yanchep National Park, Cave and Hillarys?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Perth can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Perth and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full Day Yanchep National Park, Cave and Hillarys start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Perth within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Perth?
+
On Outty we rank every Perth experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Optus Stadium Tour, Discover Perth Walking Tour: History, Art, Local Insights + More!, Pinnacles Desert Sunset Dinner and Stargazing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Perth?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Perth?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
