What you'll see and do
This is a private collection of historical memorabilia mainly showing objects of everyday life but also a lot of other military, art and culture related items of the Tirana and Albania history. It has a garden and is for the moment situated in a 1927 typical Tirana house with a nice wild garden, populated by a dense tortoise large family in the spring, summer and fall season. Quite an experience, this visit is also enriched by locals that are invited to tell you their personal stories. Great thing to do and certainly far from being considered a touristy experience. Definitely loved by everyone that chose to come. Some local turkish coffee and home made delights or fruit will always be there to make this even better. In the fresh seasons, raki will be there to warm up the spirits.

A beautiful day exploring the surroundings of Tirana
The bunker trip was great, with amazing views of Cape Rodoni, and the bunkers were really special. The food at the bunker farm was really delicious!

Unique tour
Albanian tours are one of the best companies I’ve ever organised a tour with. Their communication is great and it’s very clear what your itinerary will be. Their tour guide, Elton, is just fantastic. He speaks fluent English and also French and Italian, and his knowledge of his country is brilliant. At this company they know exactly what to offer you, granted you communicate a clear idea of what kind of tour you’re looking for. On the day of the tour, Elton used a really nice car, and paused the action for food and toilet breaks whenever I needed. I booked 2 tours with this company and It was a pleasure, a fantastic start to my holiday in Albania.

Albanian Trip planned our very fun trip to Albania. They are top-notch!
Albanian Trip is fantastic! We had an amazing time on our trip! It was our first trip to Albania. We told Vilma at Albanian Trip what we were interested in, based on that she customized an incredible itinerary providing the perfect adventure around the country. Although we often plan our own trips, we would have missed a lot in Albania if we didn't have their assistance. We definitely plan to use Albanian Trip again. Visits: We visited UNESCO sites and ancient ruins, explored castles & monasteries, did some wine tasting, hiked through beautiful mountains and rolling hills, saw some unique museums, ferried across a lovely lake, made many panorama stops, basked on beaches of the Ionian Sea, and learned a lot about the many layers of Albanian history and culture. I can’t believe how much we got to see and do! Food: It was easy to eat healthy since Albania grows lots of fresh produce. Delicious fresh food. Albanian Trip planned our itinerary to time it so we were often in scenic places at small family-run places for lunch stops and coffee breaks. Accommodations: We really enjoyed staying at the small boutique hotels and family-run guesthouses that they chose for us. Super clean and full of traditional character. Tour Guide: Albanian Trip has access to the top guides. We had the best time with our very fantastic guide, Eridjon! We just loved him! He had a great sense of humor and made each day fun and interesting. Everything you want in a guide- knowledgeable about history and insight into the places we visited, extremely professional & reliable, a conscientious. safe driver, super organized. I can't say enough good things about him! Thank you so much, Albanian Trip!!!

Bunkers past and present
We were eager to learn more about the history of Enver Hoxha’s bunkers and to see the Albanian countryside. Albanian Trip created a custom-designed, day-long bunkers and agro tour for us, showing past and present uses of these curious and dreadful structures. Our fabulous guide, Erdion, was open, generous, well-informed and responsive, and we never felt rushed or that any of our myriad questions were unwelcome. He led us to a coastal bunker complex with spectacular views of the Adriatic, a site which also included the ruins of Skanderbeg’s castle and the Church of St. Anthony. In the afternoon, we enjoyed lunch in the home of a charming and skilled small farm owner, who had raised and prepared everything on the table, from the salad to the lamb to the honey to the wine. Afterward we took a leisurely stroll through the farm and saw how she had repurposed several bunkers to age wine, raki and house animals. We had a fabulous day!

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full-Day Tour of Albania’s Bunkers and Beaches, from Tirana: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tirana.
How much does Full-Day Tour of Albania’s Bunkers and Beaches, from Tirana cost?
+
Prices start at $120 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tirana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full-Day Tour of Albania’s Bunkers and Beaches, from Tirana take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tirana is not rushed.
Is Full-Day Tour of Albania’s Bunkers and Beaches, from Tirana worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tirana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full-Day Tour of Albania’s Bunkers and Beaches, from Tirana?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full-Day Tour of Albania’s Bunkers and Beaches, from Tirana suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full-Day Tour of Albania’s Bunkers and Beaches, from Tirana?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tirana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tirana and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full-Day Tour of Albania’s Bunkers and Beaches, from Tirana start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tirana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tirana?
+
On Outty we rank every Tirana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Tirana / Durres: Gamti Mountain and Bovilla lake Day Trip, From Tirana- Hiking Tour to Bovilla Lake & Gamti Mountain, Berat Cooking Class- Traditional Albanian Cooking Class /By Vato. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tirana?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tirana?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
