Comprehensive and interesting tour of Rio
Great tour - well organised, on time, and learnt lots about the city, its culture and history. Made some friends too which was important as a solo traveller!

Had the best time!
My husband and I did the Full Day Tour with João (guide) and Marcelo (driver). They picked us up at 7:50am at our hotel and we started off the tour at Christ The Redeemer, where we took some amazing photos and enjoyed some great views. Then we headed to Selaron steps, Metropolitan Cathedral, Municipal Theater, Cinelândia, Downtown, Sambódromo, Maracanã, and Parque Lage. This was all in one day! I don't know how they managed to get us to so many places in one day, and I applaud their hard work. I found we had plenty of time to sightsee at each location and to take all the photos we wanted. João was very helpful throughout the tour and took photos of us at each location we visited. We also learned some history and fun things about each location we stopped at and also drove by. Oh, the lunch spot was delicious, affordable, and clean. It was a buffet with so many great options, that it was difficult to choose. At the end of the tour, we asked to be dropped off at the Sugarloaf cable car, so we could finish this amazing day with a sunset at Sugarloaf mountain. All in all, perfect tour with no delays, super organized, very professional driver and very knowledgeable tour guide. Highly recommend it!

The Best! Bruno and Rio Adventures!
There are no words to describe the amazing work from Rio adventures and more specifically Bruno. We planned a wedding in Rio with 40+ people coming in from the US. They took care of every single thing for all of our guests for over 10 days in Rio. Bruno was our go to person from suggesting excursions, coordinating with our guests, logistics and making sure our group which ranged from age 10-65 had everything in place for an easy experience. Some of the excursions we did as a group (Christ Redeemer, Sugar Loaf, Santa Teresa, a full boat day, hikes) but there were so many things that our guests wanted to do by themselves and at their own time (beach tours, paragliding, hang gliding) - Bruno coordinated everything with the best English speaking tour guides, who were always on time and provided a once in a lifetime and safe 10 days in Rio with zero stress for us who were getting married and already had so much on our plate. We got so much positive feedback from our guests on Rio Adventures and their time in Brazil thank you to Bruno. If you are looking for a local group that can show you all the best that Rio has to offer, look no further Bruno and Rio Adventures are the absolute best in business.

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full Day Tour in Rio: Corcovado, Selaron Steps and Park Lage: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rio de Janeiro.
How much does Full Day Tour in Rio: Corcovado, Selaron Steps and Park Lage cost?
+
Prices start at $99 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rio de Janeiro usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full Day Tour in Rio: Corcovado, Selaron Steps and Park Lage take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rio de Janeiro is not rushed.
Is Full Day Tour in Rio: Corcovado, Selaron Steps and Park Lage worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rio de Janeiro, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Tour in Rio: Corcovado, Selaron Steps and Park Lage?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full Day Tour in Rio: Corcovado, Selaron Steps and Park Lage suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Full Day Tour in Rio: Corcovado, Selaron Steps and Park Lage?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rio de Janeiro can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rio de Janeiro and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full Day Tour in Rio: Corcovado, Selaron Steps and Park Lage start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rio de Janeiro within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rio de Janeiro?
+
On Outty we rank every Rio de Janeiro experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pedra da Gávea hike, your best experience in Rio, Rio's Full Day: Selarón Steps, Christ & Sugarloaf – Tickets & Lunch Included, Rio: Tijuca Rainforest Hike, Wildlife, Waterfalls & Caves. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rio de Janeiro?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rio de Janeiro?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
