If you're not up to Rainbow Mt First, you're last. - Ricky Bobby

Early start - We were one of the first group to get to the summit and received amazing views without the traffic. Breakfast and lunch (All you can eat buffet style with Peruvian cuisine) provided is always a plus. Our guide Rob made sure everyone got up and down the hill to get the great panoramic views. Overall, the weather was definitely on our side with overcast and even some mist blowing in from the snow covered mountains. This group of driver and guides are safe and the best. We were glad we were one of the first group to the summit. Especially on a Saturday.

Quite the majestic site

Going to see Rainbow Mountain is a must do for anyone who enjoys majestic views. I would not miss it. As for the tour company, it had some pros and cons: Pros - Decent breakfast and lunch Tour guide made sure to take care of the group Cons - Showed up 20-minutes early - had to rush to make the bus Itinerary estimated $50 for horses one-way - actual was $85 Bus got very hot on return trip, but would not turn on A/C Picked up everyone at hotels, but dumped everyone at Plaza de Armas

Response from the operator: thank you for your input, we are sure to continue improving our trips.

How many days do you need in Cusco?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
