Wonderful Shelling Adventure, Dolphins and More!
The most amazing and fun day ever with Capt Jenni! She took us shelling on Cayo Costa island, and on the way out she told us about the history of what we were seeing, and then there were dolphins everywhere! A stop for lunch on Cabbage Key, and then off to a secret sandbar to jump in the water and where Capt Jenni told us all about the amazing sea creatures that we were seeing, and shells with little critters inside. Capt Jenni made us feel like we were family, and we so enjoyed every minute of our excursion. Book your trip now. You won’t go wrong with Capt Jenni at the helm!
Response from the operator: Awe…. I love my Job! Thank you for such a glowing review, I very much appreciate your support and kindness!

Awesome Captain and so much fun
Spending 6 hours with Captain Jenni was so amazing. The knowledge of nature and history was great. We all felt welcomed and comfortable. I would recommend the 6 hour charter. Snorkeling, shelling, manatee watching and so much fun. Thanks again Captain Jenni. Jo and family
Response from the operator: Jo, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and your family and showing you what a spectacular area this is thank you for being so receptive

Amazing Day!
We had a phenomenal day on the water with Captain Jenni! We were six adults and there was plenty of room for all of us to enjoy the sights & sounds of the islands. Her boat had plenty of comfortable seating as well as dry storage and a cooler for our beverages. We have been visiting Sanibel for 30 plus years and wanted to take our friends out for the day. This was by far the best boat charter for a laid back, relaxing day exploring Cayo Costa, N Captiva and Useppa. Captain Jenni will customize your day as you wish. It was so much fun! I can't recommend Captain Jenni & Flipside Charters enough. You will not be disappointed!
Response from the operator: Awe Thank You 🙏. It means the world to me when I capture the vibe !

We love Flip Side Charter & Captain Jenni
If you want the most incredible way to experience Sanibel and the islands around it, you have to go out with Captain Jenni at Flip Side Charter. Our family has been boating with her for years, and every trip somehow gets even better. Captain Jenni has spent her entire life on these waters around Sanibel, Captiva, Cabbage Key, Pine Island, and Useppa Island, and her knowledge of the area is amazing. She knows the history, the wildlife, the ecosystems, and the people. It feels less like a tour and more like exploring with a lifelong local friend who truly loves and respects this place. She took us to a beautiful sandbar and a beach that felt like our own little tropical oasis. Along the way she pointed out dolphins, manatees, birds, and other wildlife and shared so much about the environment and sea life around Sanibel and the surrounding islands. It was fun, fascinating, and relaxing all at the same time. We also loved visiting the Useppa Museum to learn about the long history of the area, and, of course, stopping for lunch on Pine Island. Every stop felt special and authentic. One tip: ask if you can climb up to the flying bridge where the view is incredible. Beyond the amazing places we visited, what makes the experience truly special is Captain Jenni herself. She is warm, friendly, welcoming, and makes everyone feel completely safe and comfortable on the boat. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests and about protecting the waters she grew up on. Going out with her has become a yearly tradition for our family and something we always look forward to. If you want to explore Sanibel and the surrounding islands the right way, we can’t recommend Captain Jenni and Flip Side Charter enough. We absolutely love her.
Response from the operator: Awe, Thank you for such a lovely review!! I love seeing you and all of your family every year!! I am so blessed to have such wonderful Clients ❤️

Captain Jenni is AMAZING! She grew up in the area and knows so much about its history, history and we found hugh shells! What a wonderful day for me and my husband. Don't miss this one!
Response from the operator: Awe Thank You, I have to say I was intimidated by your diving experience. But it was fun competing in my own head 😉 and knowing that I was in the race, is so super cool for me on many levels!! Thanks

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full Day Sanibel Eco Boat Charter with Gulf and Pine Island: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fort Myers.
How much does Full Day Sanibel Eco Boat Charter with Gulf and Pine Island cost?
+
Prices start at $1200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fort Myers usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full Day Sanibel Eco Boat Charter with Gulf and Pine Island take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fort Myers is not rushed.
Is Full Day Sanibel Eco Boat Charter with Gulf and Pine Island worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fort Myers, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Sanibel Eco Boat Charter with Gulf and Pine Island?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full Day Sanibel Eco Boat Charter with Gulf and Pine Island suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full Day Sanibel Eco Boat Charter with Gulf and Pine Island?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fort Myers can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fort Myers and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full Day Sanibel Eco Boat Charter with Gulf and Pine Island start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fort Myers within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Fort Myers?
+
Fort Myers is the jumping-off point for Sanibel, Captiva and Cayo Costa: shelling cruises, dolphin watches, Everglades airboats to the east and sunset sails from the beach pier. On Outty we rank every Fort Myers experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2.5-Hour Guided Group Kayak Tour on Big Hickory Pass, Southwest Florida Sunset Sail, Dolphin and Manatee Adventure Tour of Fort Myers. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fort Myers?
+
December to April for dry, calm Gulf days. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fort Myers?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
