Enjoyed exploring Hurricane Bay via SUP!
We had a great experience! A friend and I rented paddleboards for 3 hours and paddled the Hurricane Bay area. We saw tons of fish, Osprey AND a very large spotted eagle ray! It's wingspan was about 4 feet. Neither of us has ever seen a spotted eagle ray in this area so that made this experience one we won't forget! The staff was very friendly and the launch area was clean and easy to navigate. We felt the price was fair for the rentals and the equipment was in great condition. We'll absolutely be back to explore all the area we didn't get to see!
Response from the operator: Sounds like Hurricane Bay really decided to roll out the red carpet for you—complete with a VIP appearance by that spotted eagle ray! A 4-foot wingspan? That’s not just a sighting, that’s a full-on nature documentary moment. We’re so glad you and your friend had such a memorable paddle and got to enjoy the wildlife, smooth launch, and top-notch gear. Our team works hard to keep everything easy and welcoming, so it means a lot to hear that came through. Next time, we’ll keep our fingers crossed the ray brings a few friends… or at least gives an encore performance. Can’t wait to have you back out on the water to explore the rest! -Stefan

Garbage
We didn’t see a single living organism, got soaking wet, and pointlessly paddled for 3 hours. Had to even come in early and cut it short because it was so boring. Waste of time and money, go to the pool instead of wasting your time here.
Response from the operator: Oh wow, I'm not really sure how to respond. I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your experience with us. Maybe the pool is a better fit for some. Thank you! -Stefan

Absolute blast
We had an absolute blast! The front desk manager Grant was fantastic. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He told us exactly what to do while we were out on the water exploring all the spots he recommended. I highly recommend tikipub and kayak excursions if you are in Ft. Myers. Whether you live here or are just visiting, you will not be disappointed.
Response from the operator: Wow, what an awesome adventure! Grant will be grinning ear to ear reading this—he loves sharing all the hidden gems on the water. We’re so happy you had such a fantastic time exploring and making memories. Thanks for the recommendation, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for your next Tiki Pub and kayak escapade in Ft. Myers Beach! -Stefan

Kayla was awesome very informative and helpful! We were glad we chose this place very easy water to go out on. Will definitely do it again if we return.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for the kind words! Cayla will be grinning from ear to ear knowing she made your trip smooth and enjoyable. We love hearing that the water was easy to navigate and that you had a great experience. Can’t wait to welcome you back for another adventure next time you’re in town! -Stefan

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Half Day Kayak or SUP Rental (3hr) - Pelican Bay: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fort Myers.
How much does Half Day Kayak or SUP Rental (3hr) - Pelican Bay cost?
+
Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fort Myers usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Half Day Kayak or SUP Rental (3hr) - Pelican Bay take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fort Myers is not rushed.
Is Half Day Kayak or SUP Rental (3hr) - Pelican Bay worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fort Myers, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Half Day Kayak or SUP Rental (3hr) - Pelican Bay?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Half Day Kayak or SUP Rental (3hr) - Pelican Bay suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Half Day Kayak or SUP Rental (3hr) - Pelican Bay?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fort Myers can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fort Myers and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Half Day Kayak or SUP Rental (3hr) - Pelican Bay start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fort Myers within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Fort Myers?
+
Fort Myers is the jumping-off point for Sanibel, Captiva and Cayo Costa: shelling cruises, dolphin watches, Everglades airboats to the east and sunset sails from the beach pier. On Outty we rank every Fort Myers experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Hobie Kayak EcoTour: Premium Eco Experience Bonita Springs, 2.5-Hour Guided Group Kayak Tour on Big Hickory Pass, Southwest Florida Sunset Sail. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fort Myers?
+
December to April for dry, calm Gulf days. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fort Myers?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
