    Do not book- SCAM

After booking the experience through Viator, I attempted to contact the provider several times through the app but never received a response. On the day of the scheduled experience, the provider failed to show up at the designated pickup location. I attempted to call the phone number listed in the app, only to discover that the number was disconnected. Determined to locate the provider, I searched Google for the ranch’s address and traveled to the location. Upon arrival, I discovered that the address belonged to a legitimate travel agency that had no affiliation with the advertised full-day ranch experience. This raises serious concerns about Viator’s vetting and oversight of its third-party providers. Customers should be able to trust that experiences advertised on the platform are legitimate, that contact information is accurate, and that providers will honor confirmed bookings. Viator needs to strengthen its verification process and hold providers accountable. This experience was not only disappointing but also a significant waste of time and an unacceptable customer experience.

    Truly a unique experience...

Truly a unique experience riding in the foothills of the Andes! José picked us up from our airbnb in the Uco Valley and drove us to his ranch. We were greeted by a few of his horses and fed them apples. While Jose got the horses ready, my friend and I sat under a beautiful tree by the river. Later José would cook us a delicious Asado and we would eat under that tree. We had a very sunny day and got to experience the Zonda wind on our ride. The views were stunning, the horses were calm and easy to ride. If you are looking for an experience that is truly authentic and not at all touristy, I would recommend!

Response from the operator: Muchas Gracias 🫂. Encantado de recibirlas. Me alegro mucho que lo disfrutaran Un placer atenderlas

    I booked this activity...

I booked this activity and was prompted with a list of a hotels in Mendoza for pick up locations. I picked the one closest to Airbnb in central Mendoza.. Viator, at a later point, told me this was supposedly out of range for pickup , but I was not made aware of this at booking or by the supplier. Also, the listing made it seem like they could pick up anywhere in Mendoza. I arrived at 8:00am at the hotel for pickup. After no one arriving to pick us up, I called the listed number 4 times over a 45 minute period, starting at 8:15, with no response. I texted them as well over that time period. I finally called Viator at 8:50, who could not reach the individual either. I decided to cancel the activity at 9:00am. We ended up wasting a day cause this was a Sunday and everything else was booked up and closed. Do not recommend.

Full day ride at the foot of The Andes: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mendoza.

How much does Full day ride at the foot of The Andes cost?

    +

Prices start at $179 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mendoza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Full day ride at the foot of The Andes take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mendoza is not rushed.

Is Full day ride at the foot of The Andes worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 82 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mendoza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Full day ride at the foot of The Andes?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Full day ride at the foot of The Andes suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Full day ride at the foot of The Andes?

    +

Around 29 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mendoza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mendoza and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Full day ride at the foot of The Andes start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mendoza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mendoza?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mendoza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include High Mountain, Aconcagua and Inca Bridge, Andes High Mountain full day Tour, Horseback riding and roast in the mountains of Mendoza. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mendoza?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mendoza?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
