Ride the Route 7 mountain range, taking into account the majestic Andes Mountains. The first stop is at Potrerillos del Río Mendoza, which follows the road during the excursion. We continue traveling through a tunnel area and then into the Uspallata Valley, which separates the pre and the front ridge. Then we started up the high mountain road. We will reach Los Penitentes. We continue to travel the international route in a landscape framed by the Andean massif and bordering the old railway line. We arrive at Puente del Inca, a natural bridge with hot springs and a rich history. Then the mountains open to show Aconcagua, stop at the Mirador. Finally we come to the city of Las Cuevas and the weather permitting, we go to Christ the Redeemer. Lunch at the restaurant or option to make our own barbecue with chef. Return to the city of Mendoza. Potrerillos Dam Uspallata Puente del Inca Aconcagua Lookout

Always friendly, he shared local stories with us and demonstrated extensive knowledge about the region, making the tour even more interesting and pleasant. We recommend with all confidence and gratitude for the great experience!

    Mountain hike

What a charming day. Lucas advised us about the clothes and shoes, which helped us a lot. Why was there snow. If it weren't for the own shoes. Thank you very much Lucas for the care and attention. And take our beautiful photos

    Incredible experience with Adora Mendoza

We had incredible days with Adora Mendoza. The concern at all times from before our arrival, helping us with the reservations for the tours and wineries, also with our arrival, from the reception at the airport with transfer to the hotel, the tours we took (high mountain tour, Valle de Uco, and Luján de Cuyo), the absolutely impeccable service from Dario, who besides being our driver on all tours, was also an incredible photographer, the attention and concern for our well-being and knowing what we wanted/needed, even making some strategic stops so we could buy wines and souvenirs. I would recommend Adora Mendoza 1,000 times and I will certainly return to Mendoza, certainly counting on their special services.

High mountain tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mendoza.

How much does High mountain tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $305 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mendoza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does High mountain tour take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mendoza is not rushed.

Is High mountain tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 89 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 415 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Mendoza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule High mountain tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is High mountain tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book High mountain tour?

    +

Around 145 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mendoza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mendoza and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does High mountain tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mendoza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mendoza?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mendoza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include High Mountain, Aconcagua and Inca Bridge, Andes High Mountain full day Tour, Horseback riding and roast in the mountains of Mendoza. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mendoza?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mendoza?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in High mountain tour?
