    2. Kalathos

Do you know that pottery has magic in it. Why? Because it comes from nature as a meeting of 3 elements: earth, water & fire. Earth and water are the raw materials, fire gives the objects colour and durability while human hearts and hands give them shape. Glay is the symbol of creativity, many myths describe it to be the material out of which the first men, plants and animals come to be. Every hand-made object is unique, like in life, no two are perfectly identical. Perfection is boring, there is no room to boredom in the world of Greek ceramics

    3. Old Town of Rhodes

Explore the Old Town of Rhodes - a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe. Surrounded by impressive stone walls, it features cobbled streets, historic buildings, and landmarks dating back to the era of the Knights of St. John. Visitors can enjoy a unique atmosphere where history, culture, and local life blend seamlessly.

    4. Mandraki Harbour

At the entrance of the Mandraki harbor once stood the famous Colossus of Rhodes, one the wonders of Ancient World. The small fort Agios Nikolaou and also 3 windmills on the eastern pier are dating back to the 15th Century .

    Long tour

The trip to Lindos was relaxing and in an air conditioned bus which helped because Lindos was scorching hot. We had planned to skip the Acropolis but when we got there it was closed anyway due to the heat. We enjoyed walking around the village (where it was a little cooler) and shopping. The pottery/olive oil stop was cool and we brought a few items. By the time we returned to the midevil city we were exhausted so we skipped the rest of the tour. Luckily the bus took us back to the meeting point.

Our experience was nothing short of superb!

We had an exceptional tour in Rhodes, guided by Joanna. Everything was flawless, and at every turn, we felt Joanna's genuine care for our experience, as she went above and beyond to make this trip unforgettable. Without a doubt, this has become the most eye-opening, adventurous, and awe-inspiring journey of our lives—a treasure we'll remember, reflect upon, and cherish for many years to come. We were captivated by Greece as a whole, and Rhodes captured our hearts specifically. The island boasts a rich history and a magnetic energy that is truly unique. The locals were incredibly friendly and hospitable, adding to the overall warmth of our experience. What surprised us most was the diversity of our itinerary; each new activity led to fresh experiences that enriched our trip. The scenic beauty of Lindos was a highlight, especially the panoramic views from the hilltop and the viewpoints overlooking the town. The Old Town was equally mesmerizing, steeped in history and charm. We were also delighted by the quality of local products. We ended up purchasing an abundance of wine and olive oil, the likes of which we've never found in the United States. We can confidently say that we'll be returning to Greece—and to Rhodes, specifically—in the near future, and for a stay much longer than just one day. Our experience was nothing short of superb!

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and glowing review of your tour in Rhodes with Ioanna! We are thrilled to hear that your experience was unforgettable, eye-opening, and enriching. It's incredibly gratifying for us to know that Ioanna's efforts to go above and beyond had such a meaningful impact on your journey. We are also delighted to hear you enjoyed the local products and scenic beauty Rhodes has to offer. We look forward to welcoming you back for an even longer stay in the near future. Thank you for choosing us for your adventure in Greece!

Enjoyable but no hands on pottery

Our guide and driver were excellent, on time to pick us up and dropped us off in time for the ship leaving. Sour guide was knowledgeable and passionate about Rhodes. Only downside we would say that the pottery "workshop" is a demonstration not a hands on workshop which is what we thought the trip included.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed our knowledgeable guide and punctual service. Regarding the pottery workshop, we appreciate your feedback and will work towards making our descriptions more clear in the future to avoid any confusion. We hope to have the pleasure of serving you again on your next visit to Rhodes.

How many days do you need in Rhodes?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
