Replying your response: Spanish guide: Please, stop lying to our faces. This guide was 18 years old, so it is impossible that he had been working for your company for several years — “several years” as you mentioned. It was impossible for us to communicate with the guide, which makes it very clear to us what level of standards and customer care your company actually has. Snorkelling material: I have also attached two photographs showing the condition in which we found the snorkelling equipment: it was simply left on the floor, wet with seawater, and already dirty to begin with. Furthermore, in your email, you confirm that customers are taken to the shop to collect their snorkelling equipment. This did not happen in our case. We were picked up in a small bay where there was nobody else (photos attached), and at no point did we get off the boat to collect the equipment, as you claim. There were only a pair of inflatable wings on the boat, as I already mentioned, and they were not our size. We then passed by another bay where all the other tourists doing the same activity were gathered. Unlike them, we did not get off the boat or even go close to the shore (photo attached). Drinking water: None of what you describe was communicated to us or provided during the activity. In any case, the experience we had has made the level of service and professionalism of both the guide and your company very clear to us. Regarding this situation... If you continue providing this kind of service in the future, don’t be surprised if you receive more complaints like ours. From now on, our goal is to make sure that any tourist travelling to Zanzibar to enjoy their holiday is well informed and chooses carefully who they book their activities with, so that they don’t have to go through the kind of experience we had.

The guide assigned to your excursion has **approximately 25 years of experience in the tourism industry**. Therefore, the suggestion that he lacked experience or that our previous response was intentionally misleading is simply not accurate. We are also surprised by the statement that it was "impossible" to communicate with the guide. While we understand that communication may not have met your personal expectations, our team was present throughout the excursion to assist you, and the tour itself was completed as planned. Regarding the snorkelling equipment, we acknowledge your concerns about its appearance. However, equipment used during marine excursions can naturally be wet after being used in seawater. This does not necessarily mean that the equipment was unclean or unsafe. Our equipment is routinely used, checked and maintained for our guests. We also note your comments regarding the pickup location and equipment collection. Our previous response described our **standard operating arrangements**, but we understand that the exact sequence of the excursion may vary depending on the conditions and circumstances on the day. We regret any misunderstanding that may have arisen from this. Most importantly, from our operational records and the information available to us, the excursion proceeded normally and the services included in the booking were provided. Terrible experience
errible experience. We booked an excursion in Zanzibar that included snorkeling, a seafood barbecue lunch, a visit to sea turtles, and sunset at a beach. We specifically booked a Spanish-speaking guide. However, the guide spoke neither Spanish nor English, and we spent the entire excursion unable to communicate with him. When we arrived at the shore to start the activity, we realized that we had been taken to a completely different location from the rest of the people who had booked the same excursion. The snorkeling equipment was supposedly included, but the only gear available were used and dirty snorkels. We asked for fins, but because they could not understand us, they brought us sizes that did not fit. Most of the fruit that was served was eaten by the guide, and we were only given one small bottle of warm water each. The seafood barbecue was very different from what was being served at the other tables. Before posting this review, we contacted the company to complain, but they told us they could not do anything about it. The next day, we booked a similar excursion with another company, and the experience was completely different. It showed us just how poor this tour was in comparison. I have never felt so deceived and misled.

We therefore regret that you felt unable to communicate with the guide during the excursion, as this was not the service we intended to provide. Snorkeling Equipment For snorkeling activities, we work with local equipment providers. Guests are taken to the snorkeling equipment shop where they can select equipment according to their individual size and requirements. We do not simply assign random equipment to guests. We are nevertheless concerned by your comments regarding the condition and suitability of the equipment and have taken this feedback seriously in reviewing our arrangements with the equipment providers. Fruits and Drinking Water Fruits are included as part of our tour and are provided for our guests to enjoy during the excursion. Our normal practice is that guests are given priority to enjoy the fruits, and when guests have finished or are satisfied, guides and boat crew may also share what remains. This is not intended to reduce or replace the portion provided to our clients. Regarding drinking water, our tour arrangements provide water at several stages of the excursion: 1. Water is available in the vehicle for our guests, guide and driver. 2. Bottled water is provided on the boat, including a bottle for each guest. 3. During the seafood meal, water and soft drinks are also available at the restaurant. We therefore regret that you felt the refreshments provided were insufficient. Lunch and Other Tour Costs The seafood barbecue lunch is arranged as part of the booked excursion. The tour also involves several operational costs, including transportation, boat and captain services, drinking water and soft drinks, fruits, snorkeling equipment, applicable entry/conservation fees, the seafood meal, and the entrance fee for the turtle aquarium. An Unforgettable Adventure with the Best Team!
This tour was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Our driver, Yussuf, reached out to us well before the tour even started, answering all of our questions and making sure everything was set. Once he picked us up, we met Khamis, who gave us a fantastic, clear brief of the day's itinerary and happily answered all of our remaining questions before we headed toward the beach. At the beach, we met our captain, Mzii, who took us out toward Mnemba Island. Chasing the dolphins to capture them on my GoPro video was so much fun! Mzii was incredible and even managed to capture some amazing, up-close footage of the dolphins for us. Afterward, we relaxed on a stunning sandbank beach, enjoying fresh fruit in the sun. Mzii then brought us back to Khamis, who treated us to a delicious lunch. To top it all off, we headed to the aquarium to feed the sea turtles, which was a wonderful highlight. Overall, this was an extremely adventurous and well-organized tour. Having three dedicated guides, Yussuf, Khamis, and Mzii, take care of us made the experience feel so personalized and special. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island!

Scam likely
I gave this two stars because the turtles were great! I loved the turtles and loved being in the water with them but the tour itself is disorganized. My tour guide picked me up and then picked another man up to go snorkeling to see dolphins. This tour doesn’t advertise dolphins, and I did not want to go snorkeling that day. Then I was supposed to have lunch but the lunch wasn’t ready because I wasn’t interested in snorkeling . It seems like they added other activities just to take up the time and add other guides to the tour. My main reason for booking this was for the turtles and the sunset. After the turtles there was nothing to do for 4 hours until sunset. It seemed like a group of people trying to make money off a solo traveler. This tour doesn’t advertise not need to be a whole day. It should be half a day. See the turtles, and then go catch the sunset at the beach. FYI I had been on the island for days and the reason I didn’t care to snorkel is because I can’t swim and I had a bad experience the day before while out snorkeling with a life jacket and a guide. I was Loki g forward to a relaxed day with just the turtles and the sunset.
