Nas is a knowledgeable and entertaining guide

Nas is very knowledgeable, made the tour fun by being interactive. He also adjusted the start time for the tour due to our delay (Hakuna Matata). We felt comfortable walking Stone Town’s windy streets and interacted with some locals that Nas knew along the way. The tour lasted approx 3 hrs, kept our interest throughout . There were 4 of us in our private group.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I’m glad the tour felt interactive and enjoyable. Adjusting the start time was no problem at all — Hakuna Matata! It was a pleasure guiding your private group through Stone Town’s winding streets and introducing you to some familiar local faces along the way. I’m happy the 3‑hour walk kept your interest throughout. Karibu tena Zanzibar

Great 3h walking tour thru Stonetown

The booking process was easy via TripAdvisor and he confirmed the tour just hours later. Nas picked us up from our hotel and guided us to all the stops mentioned in the description of the tour. He was punctual and really knowledgeable. He explained the different structures in perfect English and was really easy to listen to. He really wanted us to remember the facts, so he made it interactive. During the trip he also showed us details here and there and he made sure that we had time to ask questions. Of course we walked by vendors, but I didnt feel pressured one bit to buy anything. At the end he asked us about the rest of our day and made great recommendations. All in all totally worth it and highly recommended by us!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I’m glad the booking process was smooth and that you felt well taken care of from start to finish. It was a pleasure guiding you through the different sites and making the history interactive and memorable. I’m happy you enjoyed the explanations, felt comfortable during the walk, and appreciated the recommendations for the rest of your day. Your kind words and recommendation mean a lot — I truly value every guest’s experience.
