Our experience would not have been as wonderful without Yahya!
I highly recommend Yahya as your local tour guide in Fes. He took my family around and explained historical aspects and took us to wonderful shops. We had a specific store we wanted to go to that was a bit out of the way, he made it a priority. When we got there, it was closed. He talked to other local shop keepers to try to locate the owner so he would open the shop for us, above and beyond! He helped communicate with the store owners and took us to the most wonderful place to get tea, a true hidden gem that you wouldn’t find without Yahya. It was delicious. I really enjoyed learning about the culture, his story into tourism, and the religion (as we visited during Ramadan). I’m so grateful the host at our Riad sought out Yahya for our tour. As we walked I listened to other tour guides and they did not seem near as personal as Yahya. I hope to come back in the future and bring our other two children. If we do, we will certainly be contacting him again. Thank you so much for your time Yahya!

See Fez with an amazing guide!
Yahya was an amazing guide. I’m not sure how we would have navigated the streets of the Medina without him. He grew up here and introduced us to the reputable vendors while showing us the most important spots. We spent nearly 8 hours walking the streets and meeting some amazing artisans. His fee was extremely fair and his knowledge of the area was first class. You must have him introduce you to the tea store (with 7 herbs and just a bit of sugar) - best ai have ever had. Would highly recommend Yahya for your visit to Fez.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much , 😊

Special day out with a passionate and kind guide 😁
Yahya was an amazing guide who showed us everything we needed to know about the Medina. He knew the best places to stop off for refreshments and food during the tour. He made the day very memorable for me and my father and he was very knowledgeable about Fes and the history and culture of Morocco

How far in advance should I book Full Day Private Walking Tour of Fez with Guide?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fez can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?

What are the best things to do in Fez?
+
On Outty we rank every Fez experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Fes to Marrakech desert tour 3 days, Fes to Marrakech: Merzouga & Ait Ben Haddou, 3 Days 2 Nights, 2Days groupe Tour Fes To Fes Or Marrakech Via Sahara Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fez?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fez?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
