About this experience
Positano: One of the most accessible villages along the Amalfi Coast, Positano, is a postcard-perfect fishing hamlet snuggled in a cove that is wrapped by an exceeding steep hill. The town is a photographer's dream — houses painted a dazzling white step down the impossibly steep hillside to a pebble beach lapped by brilliant blue water. Amalfi is a town and comune in the province of Salerno, in the region of Campania, Italy, on the Gulf of Salerno. It lies at the mouth of a deep ravine, at the foot of Monte Cerreto (1,315 meters, 4,314 feet).

A most excellent journey
From the beginning of our drive to its end over 8 hours later, we were blessed to have the most amazing driver, Antonio Davide Campo-Mendez. Always thoughtful, Antonio stopped at just the right points for us to take pictures or just appreciate the views. Antonio treated us like royalty. He took us to special sites, such as the perfect ceramic store in Conca dei Marini, a delicious restaurant with the freshest seafood we’ve ever eaten, and even to where they make limoncello. Antonio showed us all the nooks and shared unique information about each place along the journey. Although the views were incredible and all our stops were wonderful, our favorite part was the conversation with Antonio as we drove the winding road. He gave us tips on proper pronunciation, told us a little about how to speak Neapolitan, which is different from traditional Italian, and entertained us with knowledge of the area. His English was especially excellent, and he was eager to learn more American idioms. We had such a fabulous time with him that we didn’t want the day to end. We can’t wait to travel with Antonio again!

Recommendation&appreciation
Amalfi Coast doesn't really need a description. But what made it even more beautiful than it is, was professional approach, knowledge and highest level attitude of the agency, namely Francesco who communicated very promptly and easily and Pippo, our driver, the most pleasant and experienced person. Every minute spent was worthy of the value.

Excellent driver for private tour
Pippo was my driver for a fabulous day around the coast of Italy and to Naples. I went wine tasting and to Mount Vesuvius and also stopped by the original limoncello factory. Pippo was professional, on time and very courteous throughout the entire trip. He was very knowledgeable about all things Italy and gave me lots of great information. On top of that, he's funny and friendly, which made for an even better experience. I'm looking foward to hiring Pippo again on my next trip to Italy!

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full Day Private Tour to Sorrento Positano and Amalfi with Mercedes Vehicles: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Full Day Private Tour to Sorrento Positano and Amalfi with Mercedes Vehicles cost?
+
Prices start at $527 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full Day Private Tour to Sorrento Positano and Amalfi with Mercedes Vehicles take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Full Day Private Tour to Sorrento Positano and Amalfi with Mercedes Vehicles worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Private Tour to Sorrento Positano and Amalfi with Mercedes Vehicles?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full Day Private Tour to Sorrento Positano and Amalfi with Mercedes Vehicles suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full Day Private Tour to Sorrento Positano and Amalfi with Mercedes Vehicles?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full Day Private Tour to Sorrento Positano and Amalfi with Mercedes Vehicles start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
