2nd timer!
This is my 2nd time booking with David, I contacted him directly and did a tour in Puebla, Oaxaca and CDMX for 5 days. You can contact them directly at +52 55 6620 8163, they create an itinerary for you depending on what you want to explore! The service was private and personalized to our liking. David was very professional and was also super funny which made this trip fun!
Response from the operator: Gracias Janeth por confiar en nosotros.

Unforgettable Mexico City Tour
If you're looking for a private tour experience that feels less like a guided excursion and more like exploring Mexico City with two incredibly knowledgeable friends, look no further than David and Alex. The six of us had an absolutely spectacular day, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. It started before we even got in the car — they overheard us mentioning we hadn't had enough coffee and immediately detoured to a fantastic coffee shop near our hotel. That small, thoughtful gesture set the tone for the entire day: these guys were paying attention and genuinely invested in making our experience great. From there, we headed out to Teotihuacan, where Alex proved to be a true fountain of knowledge. He wove together history, fascinating stories, myths, and the occasional "not-so-fact" in the most engaging and entertaining way. Never once did it feel like a rehearsed lecture — it was dynamic, fun, and left us wanting to know even more. Between the two of them, David and Alex have a remarkable depth of knowledge about Mexican history and culture that shines throughout the day. We had originally planned to go straight to Xochimilco after Teotihuacan, but we had some extra time and they turned that into a gift. After a conversation about what we enjoy, they recommended a couple of markets in the city first — a perfect call. They took us to an incredible taco spot inside the Mercado San Juan (do not skip this) and then on to the Mercado de Artesanías, where they helped us navigate like locals — making sure we found exactly what we were looking for, always steering us toward something interesting, and ensuring we never got overcharged. Savvy, fun, and completely stress-free. A special shoutout to David, who somehow discovered my husband's love of mezcal and proceeded to introduce him to what felt like every mezcal vendor in the market, resulting in an impressive number of free samples. My husband was delighted. I was amused. 10/10. When traffic to Xochimilco turned out to be brutal, David and Alex pivoted without missing a beat — suggesting an alternative area that turned out to be wonderful. Their flexibility and local know-how saved the afternoon and reminded us that being with great guides means you're in good hands no matter what the day throws at you. As if the day itself wasn't enough, they also sent us off with a whole list of restaurant recommendations for the rest of our trip — thoughtful, personal suggestions that made our remaining days in Mexico City so much richer. If you're visiting Mexico City and want a private tour that's thoughtful, flexible, deeply informed, and genuinely fun, book David and Alex. You won't regret a single moment.

An Unforgettable Day with David (Huapango Travels) - The Perfect Guide!
David Espinoza made our Mexico City experience truly exceptional. What began as a planned group tour became a private tour as we were the only ones to sign up. Our trip to Xochimilco evolved into a full-day adventure when we casually mentioned our interest in Teotihuacan—David immediately offered to take us there that same afternoon, demonstrating the flexibility and enthusiasm that defined our entire time with him. His knowledge of both sites was impressive and comprehensive, but what elevated the experience was his gift for storytelling. David didn't just recite historical facts; he wove together the rich tapestry of Mexican culture through vivid anecdotes that brought ancient civilizations and traditions to life. Suddenly, these weren't just archaeological sites or tourist attractions—they became windows into the heart of Mexico's complex and fascinating history. Beyond his expertise, David's personality made the day genuinely enjoyable. He was professional yet warm, funny and engaging without ever being forced or performative. His natural charm created an atmosphere where learning felt effortless and fun rather than like a lecture. What made the experience particularly special was how David shared stories about his own family and upbringing. These personal touches transformed our tour from a transactional service into something much more meaningful—a genuine cultural exchange that gave us insight not just into Mexico's past, but into the lived experiences of its people today. For my two close friends and me, this day with David became the highlight of our five-day trip. If you're looking for someone who can turn a standard tour into an engaging, educational, and deeply personal experience, David is your guide.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your comments. It was a pleasure to assist you and share a little about the culture and way of life in my city. I hope this isn't the last time I see you. Regards, David

Full-Day Private Tour of Mexico City: Teotihuacan and Xochimilco: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.
How much does Full-Day Private Tour of Mexico City: Teotihuacan and Xochimilco cost?
+
Prices start at $3500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full-Day Private Tour of Mexico City: Teotihuacan and Xochimilco take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.
Is Full-Day Private Tour of Mexico City: Teotihuacan and Xochimilco worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 41 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full-Day Private Tour of Mexico City: Teotihuacan and Xochimilco?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full-Day Private Tour of Mexico City: Teotihuacan and Xochimilco suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 10-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Full-Day Private Tour of Mexico City: Teotihuacan and Xochimilco?
+
Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full-Day Private Tour of Mexico City: Teotihuacan and Xochimilco start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mexico City?
+
On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mexico City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mexico City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
