Corinth Canal
The Corinth Canal connects the Gulf of Corinth in the Ionian Sea with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and separates the Peloponnese from the Greek mainland, arguably making the peninsula an island. The canal was dug through the isthmus at sea level and has no locks. It is 6.4 kilometres (4 mi) in length and only 21.4 metres (70 ft) wide at its base, making it impassable for many modern ships. From high up, you can enjoy the best view of Corinth's isthmus and admire the steep limestone walls while you observe the vessels below you navigate their way through the canal.

Ancient Corinth (Archaia Korinthos)
Corinth was a city-state on the Isthmus of Corinth, the narrow stretch of land that joins the Peloponnese to the mainland of Greece, roughly halfway between Athens and Sparta. The modern city of Corinth is located approximately 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) northeast of the ancient ruins. For Christians, Corinth is well known from the two letters of Saint Paul in the New Testament, First and Second Corinthians. Corinth is also mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles as part of Paul the Apostle's missionary travels. In addition, the second book of Pausanias' Description of Greece is devoted to Corinth. Ancient Corinth was one of the largest and most important cities of Greece, with a population of 90,000 in 400 BC. The Romans demolished Corinth in 146 BC, built a new city in its place in 44 BC, and later made it the provincial capital of Greece.

WOW - What an amazing day trip - you won't be disappointed!
This was a last-minute decision and we are so happy we decided to book this daytrip from Athens! Our driver, Theo, was so friendly, and full of helpful information; he was a great host for us on the trip. Corinth was quite a site to see, full of Greek, Roman, and Christian history. We enjoyed our experience with the olive oil tasting and ended up purchasing a bunch of oil olive to be shipped home and we cannot wait to receive it. The day was then completed with a delicous lunch at a restaurant located literally on the beach - we ate at a table that was 2 feet from the sea! Do yourself a favor and book this trip for yourself!!

Great private tour and some Greek culture!
It was nice to get out of the city for a day and see ancient Corinth where Paul preached in biblical times. Corinth was meaningful and memorable. The olive farm was great as it's so Greece! Our driver/guide Harry was phenomenal!

Relaxing and full of history with a great driver!
Our trip was fantastic. Our driver Harry was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He made us feel like family, and we enjoyed hearing all about Greek culture. We had a great time throughout our day and got plenty of time at each stop. This tour was the perfect combination of activities. The private tour was great for the two of us. Very relaxing environment! I highly recommend booking this tour!

Olive Oil and the countryside!
The Corinth + Olive Oil Tasting tour was a real treat. The ride out to Corinth was relaxing and it was really neat to see some smaller towns outside of Athens. The olive oil farm and tour was the real star. It felt like a boutique experience and the local olive oil was delicious. Great experience away from busy Athens.
