Temple of Olympian Zeus
The Temple of Olympian Zeus, also known as the Olympieion or Columns of the Olympian Zeus, is a former colossal temple at the center of the Greece capital Athens. It was dedicated to "Olympian" Zeus, a name originating from his position as head of the Olympian gods. Construction began in the 6th century BC during the rule of the Athenian tyrants, who envisaged building the greatest temple in the ancient world, but it was not completed until the reign of the Roman Emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century AD, some 638 years after the project had begun. During the Roman period the temple -that included 104 colossal columns- was renowned as the largest temple in Greece and housed one of the largest cult statues in the ancient world.

Panathenaic Stadium
The Panathenaic Stadium or Kallimarmaro is a multi-purpose stadium in Athens, Greece. One of the main historic attractions of Athens,it is the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble. A stadium was built on the site of a simple racecourse by the Athenian statesman Lykourgos (Lycurgus) c. 330 BC, primarily for the Panathenaic Games.The stadium was excavated in 1869 and hosted the Zappas Olympics in 1870 and 1875. After being refurbished, it hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the first modern Olympics in 1896. It was used for various purposes in the 20th century and was once again used as an Olympic venue in 2004. It is the finishing point for the annual Athens Classic Marathon.It is also the last venue in Greece from where the Olympic flame handover ceremony to the host nation takes place.

Great customer service and very informative
Sorry, senior moments setting in and can’t remember their names. Driver was very courteous and a safe driver. He was very helpful answering our questions before we met our guide and also when he was dropping us off at our hotel. Our lady tour guide was very informative. Really knows the history. Very courteous and considerate of my fear of heights. We will definitely use this company when we visit Athens in the future. And will definitely recommend to our friends.

Wonderful day
Top notch company. Communication was excellent. We did a private tour. Our driver was a pro, weaving in and out those narrow streets and kept us save. Helen was our guide. She had a wonderful personality and her knowledge left us with more than we could ever expect. She brought us to an authentic Greek restaurant with large portions and yummy food.

Highly Recommend
The Viator tour I booked for 4 people was called ' Full Day Private Shore Excursion Ancient Corinth and Athens Must See". Our guide, Dimitri was excellent. He was knowledgeable, personable and took good care of us. We went to Corinth, Acropolis and many other places in a private vehicle. So much more comfortable than a bus with lots of people. We ate at a wonderful true Greek restaurant that he recommended. We were very tired at the end of the day but felt like we had seen the highlights of Athens.
