Asia Voyage Tour
Discover and explore the contentious Preah Vihear Temple complex. Preah Vihear is an ancient Hindu temple built during the period of the Khmer Empire, that is situated atop a 525-metre cliff in the Dângrêk Mountains. Preah Vihear is at the border with Thailand and has been the subject of more than one ownership dispute. Then after a brief stop at one of the restaurants for a traditional Cambodian curry, soups or stir-fries, continue to distant Koh Ker. Koh Ker is the modern name for an important city of the Khmer empire. In inscriptions the town is mentioned as Lingapura (city of lingams). The most impressive structure in the complex is Prasat Thom/Prang, a double sanctuary which follows a linear plan and not a concentric one like most of the temples of the Khmer kings. Unparalleled is the 36-metre high seven‑tiered pyramid, which most probably served as state temple. Then visit Beng Mealea, identical to Angkor Wat, but smaller in size.

A fabulous day exploring Cambodia's rich history
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Beng Mealea and Koh Ker today. The information and insights given by our guide Mr Sok Phally, were interesting and informative and he was ready and willing to answer any questions that we had. He and our driver (i didn't catch his name) were both so helpful and attentive, and we would definitely recommend this trip if you'd like to see more of Cambodia and gain knowledgeable insights into both the past and present.
Response from the operator: Thanks you so much.

Very cool tour of three unique temples
Sayoeun was an excellent tour guide! At each of the three temples he walked us through the history and construction of the sites. Throughout the day he also explained some of the agriculture practices and customs of the people in Cambodia making the long drives more interesting. Entrance to the parks is not included so make sure to buy the Koh Ker Pass and Angkor Wat pass online. The Preah Vihear pass we bought at the gate, maybe in the future it'll be online. Tips are encouraged at the end of the tour for the service of the driver and guide.
Response from the operator: Thanks you so much.

Why this scores 74
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full Day Preah Vihear and 2 Temples Guided Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.
How much does Full Day Preah Vihear and 2 Temples Guided Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full Day Preah Vihear and 2 Temples Guided Tour take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.
Is Full Day Preah Vihear and 2 Temples Guided Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 42 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Preah Vihear and 2 Temples Guided Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full Day Preah Vihear and 2 Temples Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 12-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Full Day Preah Vihear and 2 Temples Guided Tour?
+
Around 15 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full Day Preah Vihear and 2 Temples Guided Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?
+
On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Siem Reap?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
