Travel north to the Nambung National Park, the home of the amazing landscape famously known as The Majestic Pinnacles Desert. Be immersed in the magic and mystery of the Pinnacles with a visit to the Pinnacles Desert Discovery Centre before driving through the moon-like landscape of the Desert or enjoy an Eco-Walk. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see nature’s work up-close and offers great photography opportunities. These unique limestone formations took thousands of years to form and look like an extra-terrestrial landscape, a unique sight. The Pinnacles are of various shapes, sizes, formations, textures & form a magnificent backdrop for wonderful and memorable photoshoots. No two Pinnacle formations are similar, one of nature’s marvels in this region.

Wrong information, tour cancelled without notice, staff helpless, no response, no refund.
The Tour operator put the wrong information with wrong price of this tour on Viator website. I thought the price is mainly for the transportation from Perth to Pinnacle and that is only what our family need. Booked the tour and contacted the tour operator few days before we flew to Perth to confirm, but there was no response from them at all. When we we were in Perth, I called the tour company 1 day before the confirmed tour date and got the answer that they can't make the tour due to the wrong price paid, and that they didn't contact Viator, the tour broker, so there is nothing they can do for us, and they, the company owner, actually were in India for their holiday at that time :(. I then contacted Viator via online chat. Viator Customer Service Agent told me that she would send email to tour operator (whom I'd just contacted directly by phone few minutes before with no hope) and asked me "to keep the lines open" so they can contact me later for the outcome. However, there's nothing happens for the rest of that day. Since it was last minute cancellation (due to the tour operator and the tour broker faults), we can't book alternative as all other tours were fully booked. There was no response from either Viator or Aussie Perth Tours 3 weeks after we already finished our Perth trips and we missed out the Pinnacle part which should be the highlight on the list of our trip. I submitted refund request online (with the thought they should pay compensation for us as well). It's been over a month without response until I contacted Viator again today telling them that I am ready to bring the case further to Western Australia Consumer Protection if they don't refund for me. Viator agent said that they contact Aussie Perth Tours but there's still no response from them so Viator has to process the refund directly for me. Definitely not recommend The Aussie Perth Tours company. They don't even communicate to correct the wrong tour information on the Viator website or to solve the problem for customers.

As was clearly explained to you that you have booked only for the sand boarding component of the tour which is an extra add on to the Main Pinnacles tour. This was an error on booking system of Viators, whom we had highlighted also to correct, days before you landed in Perth and had queried that pricing does not match the tour price. Normally you should not have been able to book an add on tour component without booking the main tour. So you were asking us to do a tour for your group for price of an add on, of sand board and thats not possible. All this was clearly explained to you on phone when you had contacted us, as we were not having your tele contacts. Our staff did mention to you to revert to Viator n rebook with correct pricing etc, which you adamantly refused to do also. You had booked and paid to Viator, who pass on funds to us a month or more after tour is completed, if it is carried out. So your blaming us for no refund is sadly not correct. You booked with Viator and they will have refunded to you, am sure. They have never not refunded on tours cancelled by us, for minimum numbers not being met etc, and this is for years we are talking about. We also find it very strange that you were in Perth and could not arrange an alternative tour to Pinnacles and you say all other tour companies were booked. out. That has not happened last 3 years and more that local companies are so booked out. if there is anything we can still assist you, kindly let us know and we will be happy to assist you. I am still waiting for my refund and ready to file a consumer complaints to Western Australia Consumer Protection if they don't refund for me.

Didnt happen
Booked and paid deposit for tour, waited 20mins past pick up time for tour before ringing them to be told our was cancelled. Thanks for letting us know. They offered to try and get us another tour bu we had our time planned. Very poor service then had to wait to get refund

During Covid and with borders closed things have been uncertain. You were made aware that if minimum number of people are not achieved, tour will not operate. Please do note that you booked with a booking agency and they have to refund money to you, we do not receive the funds.

A wonderful day out
We have taken the full day at Pinnacles, passing through Yanchep (koalas & kakatoos), Lancelin (sand dunes!) up to Cervantes for lunch. Our guide has been Kea, a very cheerful and educated young person who also added of his own to make our day memorable. To begin is we were in Australia at Perth since 8 days and zero kanguroos (well hundreds of Quakka in Rotto but..). After some introduction to Perth and on hurban landscape, he suggested to to stop at Pinnaroo Valley Memorial park if we really want to see kanguroos. Barbara and I were enthusiastic of this offer and accepted happily. We saw a number of reds there, even at a close range. At the end, those were the ONLY kanguroos we saw in Australia (none in Yanchep..). This was not the only unplanned 'pearls' of that long day. Once we were in Cervantes (strange Spanish name, but got from a wrecked ship a while ago). Whlel driving we saw a sign reporting 'stromatolites'. Well, only Aussies indulge in calling attention on those weird things. I am a geologist (marine, just back from the Great Australian Deep-Sea Coral and Canyon Adventure, check it on the web) and paleontologist and got attracted by having one of the few living examples of some of the earliest form of Life on Earth. Asked with little hope Kea if would have been possible to stop there for a few minutes, being basically along our planned route. Kea graduated in marine biology and took class in marine geology too After consulting also with other 4 guests, WE DID IT! All of us were very happy for this unplanned stop. The resto of the day as planned, getting lot of time to see the Pinnacles, without any pressure from the guide who was on the contray enthusiastic and insoired as it were the first time for him too. The Pinnancles are a lot better than I expected, in terms od the vastity of the land characterized by these magnificent formations. This day was the most Austrlaian day of our entire trip. Surely memorable and worth of. Highly recommended! Marco & Barbara
