Our guide was very good...
Our guide was very good so none of the comments are a reflection on him. The number of people on the tour filled a large bus. Way too many people to be guided through the narrow busy streets and through the sites. There is a full and a half day version. The full include a lunch. The food was mediocre. We left the full day after lunch. I would not recommend this tour, just the guide.

Stay Away from Destination Services
Booked a full day « Marrakech Immersion » tour through viator. Tour guide and driver arrived 20 minutes late to pick us up. Tour guide spent half the day arguing with the driver and complaining to us about him. Lots of time spent finding another family for noon pickup. Called the office to request a different guide and the manager hung up on us after hearing our complaint. Perfunctory stops only outside places of interest. No historical commentary provided. Prearranged stops at vendors with whom the company obviously gets commission or benefit (not permitted by the regulatory body of guides) - one to pressure you into purchasing souvenirs, the other to purchase herbs and Aegean oil. Not recommended at all.

Perfect Day in Marrakech
Super friendly and knowledgeable guide made for not only a perfect day of sightseeing but also an education in the culture and history of the city and its people. Our family of 4 were joined by 4 other visitors so made it almost a personal experience. Had lovely lunch on a roof top terrace overlooking the city which made a nice surprise and restful break. There was plenty of time to explore on our own, take photos and soak up the atmosphere especially at the end of the day overlooking the Jamaa El-Fina Square as it came to life. Always felt safe and never troubled.
Response from the operator: Thanks you so much for taking time to leave your feed-back and sharing your amazing experience with us, much appreciate your kind’s words. Kindest regards.

DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR
I should have listened when I read the most recent reviews for this tour; however, as I always had a good experience with tours that I book through Viator, I decided to go for it. The tour guide was very rude. He would bring us (me and 6 other people) to a site and just disappear. He never presented himself to us. I had to ask him for his name mid-tour. He took us to a place to buy argan oil, and come to find out, the oil (which was expensive) was not pure argan oil. I didn't finish the tour and requested to go back to the hotel because it really was not enjoyable.

This was the worst tour we ever took part.
From 9 to 12 three famous sights were visited, then lunch and the souks. Very little, practically no information was given on what we have seen. Recommended for those who want to travel in a van between sights instead of a taxi and want somebody else buying the tickets.

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full Day Marrakesh City Tour including Local Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Full Day Marrakesh City Tour including Local Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $32 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full Day Marrakesh City Tour including Local Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Full Day Marrakesh City Tour including Local Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 269 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Marrakesh City Tour including Local Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full Day Marrakesh City Tour including Local Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full Day Marrakesh City Tour including Local Lunch?
+
Around 94 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full Day Marrakesh City Tour including Local Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
