Amazing Provence tour
This was one of my most favorite tours of my entire trip! Even though we didn’t get to see the lavender fields in bloom due to the extreme heat and early harvest seeing so many of the most beautiful villages and Pont du Gard made up for it! Anne was a super guide and really knows her stuff. She kept in touch with me prior to our departure that morning. She answered all of my questions and gave us some great directions to get inside the city walls of Avignon for our dinner plans later that day! I also am grateful to her driving in some pretty bad rain for a portion of our tour. Would highly recommend for a wonderful day touring Provence, my absolute favorite part of Franc! Thank you Anne! Provence is a place...
Provence is a magical place where colors and scents blend. Our experience was extremely positive. Our guide Anne was exceptional, very knowledgeable, and explained the customs and secrets of this magnificent region. We visited several lavender fields in the Luberon regional park and explored three typical Provençal villages. If you have the opportunity If you have the chance, I recommend making a stop in these wonderful places.

Fantastic day tour in the beautiful lavender fields!
We spent July 4 with Ann on a day tour of the lavendar fields & 3 villages. Ann was a great guide & really knows the area. If we stopped at one field we stopped at 20! All unique in their own way. And a sunflower field too. It was a hassle free way to see the area. I highly recommend! Suitable for kids & teens.

Wonderful views and great guide!
We had the most perfect day with our tour guide, Gordana!! Because of the cooler spring, we were a little early to see full blooming lavender south of Avignon, but our guide quickly shifted and gave us the option to stay on the original course and see the early blooms or head north and see full blooms. We opted to go north and it was spectacular!! We also visited the most beautiful little hill town of Vaison la Romaine. I would absolutely recommend this tour (and more importantly, our guide who adapted to give us the best experience for us) to anyone looking for a wonderful experience in Provence! She was friendly and knowledgeable and we would have loved to have spent even more time with her!!

Anne was hilarious and displayed third degree french humour.
Trip was confirmed even when I only gave very last minute notice. Anne noted that I really liked lavender and made sure we stopped enough to take admire. She was also generous with sharing her knowledge of other tours like the Van Gogh tour. It was enjoyable to have her french humour through out the trip. She doesn’t hold back to make sure u get ur money’s worth. I would recommend this company and Anne for sure!

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full day lavender tour Luberon and Sault: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Avignon.
How much does Full day lavender tour Luberon and Sault cost?
+
Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Avignon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full day lavender tour Luberon and Sault take?
+
Plan for about 8.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Avignon is not rushed.
Is Full day lavender tour Luberon and Sault worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Avignon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full day lavender tour Luberon and Sault?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full day lavender tour Luberon and Sault suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full day lavender tour Luberon and Sault?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Avignon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Avignon and add a light layer if any part of the 8.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full day lavender tour Luberon and Sault start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Avignon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Avignon?
+
On Outty we rank every Avignon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Highlights of Provence in One Day, Chateauneuf du Pape wine tour, Luberon Hill-top Villages Small-Group Day Trip from Avignon. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Avignon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Avignon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
