2 separate reviews
This review should honestly be two separate reviews. The first review is about the snorkeling and open bar. The company that they use was very friendly and hospitable. The guys were very educated and knowledgeable, and were happy to deal with all of the crazy snorkelers. They educated us and guided us on the open sea. They made sure that we were safe and following all the directions and where to look in the ocean for colorful fish. The drinks were free flowing for all 70 people on the catamaran. When we got to the location of the fish, it was great until another boat decided to come up beside us and crowded the waters, but that was completely out of their control. This portion of the tour was excellent. My second review is for the tour bus company, which was nice enough to pick us up two blocks away from our hotel, which I initially did not think was going to happen. So that was a nice surprise.Unfortunately, the bus was a little outdated and did not have any plugs to charge phones. The seats were mildly comfortable and were adjustable. However, the ac was not working on one side of the bus.So many people were complaining. The lights on the way back were not operable either so it was hard to see when you were trying to walk down the stairs to the bathroom in the bus. In addition, when we got done the snorkeling, we only had about an hour and a half to explore Key West, and it was hard to get to the southernmost point and back to the bus in time. We were initially told that we would have to return to the bus at 7 but then when we arrived, we were told 530. We were not able to enjoy the restaurants and bars due to the fact that we had to walk an hour to the southernmost point and back. Andy the guide and Pepe the driver were great and I have no complaints about them.

Broken down tour bus with busted seats leaves customers stranded 60 miles from Miami.
1. Busted seats resulted in some customers with very little room. Very uncomfortable for 9 hour bus trip. 2. Wife and I could not sit together because our pickup place was the last stop. The bus was totally full and trip organizers didn’t attempt anything to solve the problem. 3. No itinerary given pre trip. We were told only after we were in the bus. 4. Trip advertised as “Narrated” The narration lasted about 30 minutes. 5. Finally, on the way back, the bus totally broke down leaving everyone on the side of the Keys highway with vehicles whizzing by. We called an Uber and spent $115 to get back to Miami

Bad bus inside and out!! 1. Bus was 30 minutes late 2. Wife and I were the last two on a totally full bus 3.Seats broken
1. Bus was half hour late 2. Bus was totally full, wife and I had to sit apart. No accommodation for us, too bad so sad for nine hours on the bus. 3. Bus was designed to cram as many rows as possible. Horrible for such a long time on a bus. 4. And many seats were broken allowing people to fully recline into the lap of the person behind them. No instruction by guide given to people to not fully recline. Made it very bad for some. took advantage 5. No itinerary given pre trip, only given verbally once. 6. Poorly maintained bus broke down halfway to Miami on the side of the road, no hazard lights were turned on, totally dangerous situation, 60 or so people wondering around in the dark being devoured by mosquitos. We left this disaster and spent $115 to Uber back to our hotel in Miami.

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full-Day Key West Tour and Coral Reef Snorkeling with Open Bar: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Miami.
How much does Full-Day Key West Tour and Coral Reef Snorkeling with Open Bar cost?
+
Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Miami usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full-Day Key West Tour and Coral Reef Snorkeling with Open Bar take?
+
Plan for about 15 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Miami is not rushed.
Is Full-Day Key West Tour and Coral Reef Snorkeling with Open Bar worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 223 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Miami, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full-Day Key West Tour and Coral Reef Snorkeling with Open Bar?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full-Day Key West Tour and Coral Reef Snorkeling with Open Bar suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 15-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full-Day Key West Tour and Coral Reef Snorkeling with Open Bar?
+
Around 78 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Miami can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Miami and add a light layer if any part of the 15-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full-Day Key West Tour and Coral Reef Snorkeling with Open Bar start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Miami within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Miami?
+
Miami splits between the water and the neighbourhoods. Biscayne Bay boat tours, Key Biscayne snorkelling and Everglades airboats cover the first, while Wynwood mural walks, Little Havana food crawls and South Beach deco tours cover the second. We rank Everglades operators carefully: many depart from Miami but the good ones run their own boats rather than reselling seats. On Outty we rank every Miami experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 hrs Miami Private Boat with Cooler, Ice, Bluetooth Stereo, Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami, Miami: 2 Hour Private Yacht Cruise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Miami?
+
November to April, dry season, before hurricane and humidity months. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Miami?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
