About this experience

Full day guided group tour of Delhi, which is a city of contrasts, home to almost 17 million inhabitants from different parts of India. The city is divided into a new and an old city. Both cities are completely different from each other. Old Delhi is the heart of the city, where life is in full swing according to the laws of the multi-million dollar jungle and medieval exoticism. Old Delhi was once called New Delhi and this was in the 17th century. It was designed by Emperor Shah Jahan as the new capital of the Mughal Empire and named it Shahjahanabad. Multifaceted, many-sided, contrasting - these epithets are suitable for many cities in the world, but especially for Delhi. You will see the flavor of the old city and modern skyscrapers in New Delhi.

Horrible viator and trip advisor as usual

After 10 minutes waiting for pick up I message them and they told me they were not told of any tour so i had tonre donthe whole day miss a couple of hours etc etc. Trip advisor and viator are a waste of time and source of problems as usual.

Response from the operator: Good Afternoon sir/madam We understand your unsatisfaction and an unfortunate thing you faced but kindly allow us to not agree with you. As per our chat with you. We told you right after your massage on WhatsApp that the excursion could not take place as minimum number of participants are two and we also requested you to cancel and get your refund but you insisted and did not do so. We have already mentioned in our programme information that minimum number of participants are two if will be less than two then unfortunately the excursion will not take place. We hope you understand our position and agree with us.

Amazing sunrise tour to Taj Mahal

I was in Delhi for work and had a downtime during weekend. I decided to visit Taj Mahal and book the sunrise tour with Ali thru Viator. The driver picked me up at the hotel at 230am and got to Agra by 6am. Ali gave a lot of background and insights on Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. His stories about the mausoleum and Agra palaces inside the fort were fascinating. Learned a lot about Mughal emperors of India. We also had quick stop at the marble sellers and carpet sellers. After this, we were on our way back to Delhi which took close to 4 hours. By 3pm I was back at the hotel and dozed off.

Full Day Delhi Guided Group Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.

How much does Full Day Delhi Guided Group Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Full Day Delhi Guided Group Tour take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.

Is Full Day Delhi Guided Group Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Delhi Guided Group Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Full Day Delhi Guided Group Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Full Day Delhi Guided Group Tour?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Full Day Delhi Guided Group Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in New Delhi?

+

On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit New Delhi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in New Delhi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
