Amalfi Coast
The gem of Amalfi is the oldest of Italy’s maritime republics. Whitewashed homes dotting the hillside are illuminated by the abundant sunshine that bathes the city. The basilica’s cupola is a reference to the Sicilian -Arabic influence that once dominated the area. For centuries it has been a popular destination due to its natural beauty and ideal climate.
60 minutes here
Ravello
Ravello and its noble villas keep alive the grandeur of a bygone era. Perched high on a hillside plateau, Ravello has stunning views of the Amalfi coastline, overlooking Minori, Maiori, and beyond. Immortalized in the films of Roberto Rossellini, the city of Ravello seduces its visitors with its contrast of opulent colours and displays of luxury and the absolute tranquillity that pervades it.

Great trip
Our guide, Alfonso, was lovely. He tailored the tour to the eight of us who were in it. He told stories and histories of the region. He really believed in letting us make choices and really looked out for me because I have trouble with steps. It was a very enjoyable tour, even though the temperature was over 105 degrees at one point.

An Amazing Day with the Best Guide!
We had the pleasure of having Alberto as our guide for the day, and he was fantastic! He was incredibly knowledgeable and kept us entertained throughout the entire day. He showed us so many hidden gems along the coast and made plenty of stops so we could take in the beautiful scenery and capture some photos. We were in a group of 7 which was the perfect size group. Thank you, Alberto, for making our day so memorable!

Amalfi coast tour with Alberto
We did a guided tour of the Amalfi Coast with Alberto and it was an amazing experience ! Alberto was friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. We particularly enjoyed the drive on the coast and listening to the information provided by Alberto.

A good excursion
Alberto was our driver - he was fantastic. He was polite and generous with the information that he shared throughout the day. He was incredibly tolerant of other members of the group that were regularly late. He even arranged to pick them up from their accommodation so that they could join the tour. We enjoyed visiting Positano, Amalfi and Ravello - Ravello was a particular highlight for us due to it being quieter than the other places visited. The gelato there and the lemonade was a highlight.

How much does Full-Day Amalfi Coast Experience from Sorrento, Naples or Salerno cost?

+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 92 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 1,427 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Salerno, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. How far in advance should I book Full-Day Amalfi Coast Experience from Sorrento, Naples or Salerno?
+

Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Salerno and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Salerno?
+
On Outty we rank every Salerno experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Amalfi Coast Day Cruise from Positano, Amalfi Coast Boat tour Small Group, From Naples to Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi with Optional Boat Ride. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Salerno?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Salerno?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
