    About this experience

Choose a comfortable boat ride and a visit to the land of the historical and weighing beauties of the Isle of Capri. Destination for authors and poets, inspiring muse, Capri delights with the authentic atmosphere of the volcanic island. In the top ten of the most popular islands in the world in Travelers ’Choice Islands Awards, the island has been enchanting for centuries for its beauty and charm. You will discover the wonder of its rugged coastline, from the sea you will experience the charm of a land that enchants with the silence of the wind and the waves with its beaches and its natural caves, romantic and chic views and the grandeur of the Faraglioni. His famous Piazzetta brings back the glamor of the past and can be savored with long walks on foot among craft boutiques and spaces to be discovered patiently. It almost becomes a suite overlooking the sea, in terms of elegance and high gastronomy, with historic beaches in the sun and starred chefs to delight with traditional and authentic recipes.

A great way to see the coast!

Had a great time touring the Amalfi Coast with Luca and Amelia from directioncapri.ch! Swimming into caves, cliff jumping and picked up by a little tender taking us to lunch.

Best private boat tour ever with first class service!

We spent a whole day on the Cranchi 32 as a family of 5 (4 adults &1 teen). We boarded in Maiori and left for Capri via “Li Galli” (Dolphin island), through the “Faraglioni” and had a good look at the “White cave” on Capri, before jumping into the translucent water and then being served a very nice “aperitivo” with Direction Capri’s own Prosecco by our Hostess Amelia. We then were brought to a nice restaurant to have lunch at Marina piccola, from which we then fetched a taxi to drive up and spend some free time on the island. We went back to the boat a few hours later to take another jump into the Mediterranean sea before riding back to the Amalfi Coast and have close looks at Positano ( and another swim !) and the other towns all the way back to Maiori. We were happy to receive a lot of information from Amelia about the coast, the villas, the caves and the jetset gossip ;) The views from the boat were just amazing! All day long, Luca’s smooth riding skills were very welcome :)! And last but not the least, we very much appreciated the discretion of our hosts on the boat: this was first class! We drove by car the next day along the Amalfi Coast but were very disappointed since it was no close to our experience on the boat. We strongly recommend a boattrip with Direction Capri to enjoy the Amalfi Coast to its fullest! We will definitely go back !

Response from the operator: Thank you very much ! These words are very important to us and we are delighted to know that you enjoyed this experience ! We hope to welcome you a next time ! You are such a beautiful family,

This beautiful boat and crew is an absolute MUST if heading to Capri!!!

Words cannot describe how impressed we were with Amelia, Luca, and our private boat from Positano to Capri. Amelia made the process very simple and easy and in the end, they did not disappoint! Not only did they show us all the hot spots for sightseeing and swimming but they even surprised us with champagne and a special cake for our 10 year anniversary! This was by far the best part of our visit to Italy!

Full day Capri small group with grottos: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Salerno.

How much does Full day Capri small group with grottos cost?

    +

Prices start at $310 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Salerno usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Full day Capri small group with grottos take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Salerno is not rushed.

Is Full day Capri small group with grottos worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Salerno, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Full day Capri small group with grottos?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Full day Capri small group with grottos suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Full day Capri small group with grottos?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Salerno can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Salerno and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Full day Capri small group with grottos start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Salerno within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Salerno?

    +

On Outty we rank every Salerno experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Amalfi Coast Experience from Sorrento, Naples or Salerno, Small-Group Amalfi Coast Day Cruise from Positano, Amalfi Coast Boat tour Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Salerno?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Salerno?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
