    Amazing day trip to Kazbek

Tour distance is long, take 9am to 7pm, Guide Mariamo is very friendly and clear explanation in both languages, great service and experience.

    Worth the money!

A great tour! Gustav is a cool guide. Just watch the pricing on the stopovers as a few tourist traps with overpriced items.

    Fun But

Unfortunately, the beautiful scenery was overshadowed by a very disappointing experience with our guide, Nikolozi. From the beginning, his communication felt unnecessarily rude and disrespectful. We were not allowed to bring our covered coffee cups onto the bus and were told quite harshly to throw them away. Throughout the day, his manner often felt more like being in a strict classroom than being on vacation. The most uncomfortable moment was when another guest misunderstood the return time because the timing had been communicated in Russian rather than English. I think he forgot to say it in English. I had to ask him. When she returned late with food, he shouted at her, insisted she leave her food behind, and later threatened to leave her and her family behind. She was visibly upset and crying afterward. Regardless of who was right about the timing, I believe the situation could have been handled calmly and professionally by Nikolozi. At the end of the tour, when I asked for the QR code to leave a review, he refused to give it to me, so I had to obtain it from another guest. Where I saw him giving a customer the code who was talking with him most of the trip. The driver on the other hand, was in a rush and drives crazy.. The locations and scenery were absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately the guide’s attitude took much of the enjoyment out of the experience. A tour guide should make guests feel welcome and comfortable, not intimidated.

One of the Worst Guide Experience

One of the worst tour guied experiences I’ve ever had. The guide ( Nikolozi) spent most of the time speaking Russian, while the English explanations were extremely brief, incomplete, or simply skipped. The whole trip felt more like a strict classroom than an enjoyable tour , His attitude was rude and unprofessional. Whenever we spoke quietly to each other, he would get angry and tell us not to talk while he was speaking, knowing he was not speaking to everyone at that time, he was having side conversations and joking with a specific group during the tour. He also repeatedly shouted at another tourist and threatened to leave her behind. To make matters worse, he refused to give us the review QR code, claiming we couldn’t leave a review because we booked through another platform. I had to get the link from another guest. Very disappointing and completely unprofessional. I would never book a tour with this guide again.

From Tbilisi to Kazbegi Stepantsminda Gudauri GroupGuided Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tbilisi.

How much does From Tbilisi to Kazbegi Stepantsminda Gudauri GroupGuided Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $18 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tbilisi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does From Tbilisi to Kazbegi Stepantsminda Gudauri GroupGuided Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tbilisi is not rushed.

Is From Tbilisi to Kazbegi Stepantsminda Gudauri GroupGuided Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 124 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tbilisi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule From Tbilisi to Kazbegi Stepantsminda Gudauri GroupGuided Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is From Tbilisi to Kazbegi Stepantsminda Gudauri GroupGuided Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book From Tbilisi to Kazbegi Stepantsminda Gudauri GroupGuided Tour?

    +

Around 43 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tbilisi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tbilisi and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does From Tbilisi to Kazbegi Stepantsminda Gudauri GroupGuided Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tbilisi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tbilisi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tbilisi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tbilisi:Evening Walking & Talking Tour with Wine & Boat Ride, Tbilisi:Mtskheta,Jvari,Bazaar, wine tasting,Chronicles of Georgia, Kakheti Wine Region Tour + 10 Premium Wine Tastings & Sunset. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tbilisi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tbilisi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
